Nice location with decent sized patio. A small but diverse lineup of beer that I thought was fairly mediocre. Service was great, and the house made chips were cheap and tasty. Worth visiting if your experiencing an East Portland brewery crawl. I will stop by again sometime.

A fairly typical taproom with a moderately sized bar and a decent amount of tables and booths. On top of this, there are a few community-style picnic tables both inside and out. We had a decent group and our waittress was happy to adjust as we switched tables and slowly added more and more people. Each time another person showed up, she was ready to take their order.
They offered a bit more than a dozen beers - I want to say maybe about 15-18. There were a handful of IPAs, and a smattering of other styles, both dark and light, lager and ale (though mostly the latter). Nothing really stood out as good or bad, though we all had some we felt were a bit better than the others. Looking at the beers listed here, I only see about half of what was on the beer list that day, so it is possible they'll have a new set of beers next visit. There were some more seasonable offerings, so it is quite possible if you like variety you could hit this place randomly and have some new things to try.

This was once Amnesia Brewing. The set-up is the same: large patio with picnic tables; inside a row of tables with a small bar area. The brewery is in the back. The atmosphere is laid-back and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. In fact, I enjoyed their Cloud Hopper IPA, Opacus Oatmeal Stout, a sweet schwarzbier and s a few more. I took home a bomber as well. It is in a nice neighborhood a short ride from downtown. If you wish to take the bus, No.4 will take you from downtown to the front door. Another Beervana gem!

we had a great experience here, actually stumbled randomly upon this one as we were trying to make our way to ecliptic. it was so tasty and relaxed here that we never left. big outdoor patio, mostly covered, with a much smaller space inside, a few booths and tables, open garage doors, dim lighting (really sick hop lights), as many is ten or twelve beers on tap, a working brew house in the back, and a diverse food menu. there was a nice evening breeze blowing through here, it was not overcrowded, and it felt incredibly comfortable. the beer was nice, we had some tasty ipa and a caramel porter that while sweet, was very well done. we ate dinner here, and the food was quite good. portions a little small maybe, but it was all freshly made and quite tasty, if a little simplistic, it provided a more than adequate base for the beers. mellow music playing, great service, and just a very unpretentious place to unwind and converse. it was the last of our portland brewery visits, but definitely one of the most memorable for me. highly recommended.
edit: equally cool a bunch of years later, one of my favorite patio spots in town, shady and mellow, being safe with the virus was easy here, and the beers seem to keep on getting better. awesome spot!
