Pours an amberish golden color with about 1cm of head that thins out to a layer but still laces the glass. Smells very faintly of flowers, and not much else. The taste is malty sweet, very malty. I've had stouts with less flavor than this. There's also a hoppy bitter finish to it. It doesn't finish exactly clean, but doesn't finish sour, either. Sorta woody. It's actually a lot more complex than I was expecting. The mouthfeel is heavy with a tiny bit of carbonation scraping on the tongue. Just enough to help the finish out. Overall, it's a very drinkable beer, I just wish it wasn't so expensive here.

Light golden amber, small foamy white head that leaves some lacing on glass.

Malts, caramel, lighter aromas such as honey, vanilla and some butterscotch.

Sweet with some light caramel and vanilla flavours, some light honey & some bitter hops. There is a little citrus and some floral, grassy hops too.

A light medium bodied beer with a smooth texture and an overall sweetness. Carbonation is about medium and easy to drink.

This one was quite a nice, sweet tasting beer with a good mix of flavours and good balance between them. Drinkability was good and the beer had a nice, smooth and easy to drink feel to it.

Pours gold with a small fading head.
Nose shows faint caramel and floral notes. Pretty subtle.
Flavours include nutty malt, caramel and faint vegetal notes. Again, pretty restrained.
Body feels a bit watery.
Not a bad beer but pretty underwhelming stuff.

Pint, hand pulled in the Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire.

Golden, but dull: on top a poor excuse for a head, just a thin wisp and collar from the start.

Slight malty aroma, toffee and caramel hints, all minimal.

The taste was semi-sweet with some small hop bitterness later in the mouthfeel. There were citrusy notes in the bitterness and earthy biscuits from the malts.

A strange beer all round, pleasant enough but not really putting its mark on anything, run of the mill, average in all aspects to be honest. Pity, it had travelled a long way from home to be consumed in Shropshire, maybe the journey didn’t suit it?

Pours a light golden yellow colour, with a fair head of bubbly white. Some soapy lacing is left behind. Body looks pleasantly deep and solid. Not bad.

Bit of sweet soaked bread on the nose, with a hint of melted butter. Perhaps a light note of honey coming off it too. Quite a savoury nose all up. Grains and light yeast rule here.

Taste is initially soft, with some raw grain characters coalescing as the palate progresses. Bit of metallic bitterness mid-way through, and the finish is very green and slightly harsh. Feels too odd to me.

Not quite there, to my mind -- starts soft, but I feel like it should be far more smooth and drinkable than it ends up. The harshness is subtle but impossible to ignore, and it grates on me after a while.

Pours amber/orange with good carbonation. A small but white head forms but it leaves quickly.

First notes are of flowers and perhaps even a little fruit. Quite subdued overall. Some slight grain aromas but not a whole lot more.

Good fruit flavours mingle with a slight caramel malt flavour. Some nice grainy flavour here as well. Subtle yet enjoyable. A strong yeast aftertaste.

Reasonably full flavoured with a good body. Nice bitterness balances out the palate.

Pleasing but unexciting. Worth trying.

Moderated amber with a thin head adequate to isolate. Mild odour, and aroma, of grass with honey undertone. Light-bodied but complex taste that include honey, salty, balanced bitterness and malt. Fine enough carbonation to excite the mouth. Light mouth-feel and easy to drink.

Judging by the label, I first thought this was from New Zealand.. :-P
Seriously now...
Pours a big frothy white head, good glass-clinging lace. Clear golden colour, very appealing.
Herbaceous/citrus-peel aromas, with some slight cumin seed. Sweet pale malt notes as well.
Very spicy flavour profile, with cumin, nutmeg & white pepper....god knows what else. Malt is understated, although it warms into a bready flavour.
Quite a light mouthfeel, easy to quaff.
Probably a good food ale, with fried chicken or Indian tikka.

Dark gold in colour with a tightly frothed off white head.
Smells of fresh grass and cucumbers
Honey like maltiness with a balanced bitter influence.
Is reasonably crisp given the subtle bitterness
Described by the brewers as " almost lager like", it is a very pleasant drink.
Match with an avocado and chicken sandwich

500ml bottle bought from The Vintage, Antrim...

Poured a light coppery golden colour... white head poured quite small then faded quickly to very light layer. Fair amount of continuous carbonation drifts to the surface... very little lacing...

Aroma - Nice rich biscuity malt sweetness, light spicy fruits (oranges, apples, some lemons), grassy, light floral honey, some sea saltiness, herbal / vegetal notes, hight peppery hops...

Taste - Quite strong peppery hops, light fruity sweetness (apricots, lemons, pears), some light sickly sweetcorn notes, salty, some creamy vanilla hints, light almond / marzipan nuttiness, some honey notes, decent biscuit maltiness..

Feel - Quite sharp initially then becomes more rounded as you drink... light bodied... pretty drinkable but a little boring..

Overall - An OK pale ale... nothing special. Cairngorm can do much better than this...

Pours with a moderate head, leaving hardly any lace. Golden color, light to medium bodied, starts as a good mix of hops and malt finishes hoppy. Nose is really not much a little malty. Found in England for £1.49; easy to drink on hot, humid days, too bad it was only 330ml.
