Thanks to bb8189 for sending me this one. Poured into a Hill Farmstead wine glass.

It pours a hazy orange-yellow with a thin white head about 1 and a half fingers thick that lingers and clings to the side of the glass while slowly fading to a thin patchy lacing on top. The aroma is mostly pine with a hint of citrus and a dankness that I would associate with Columbus hops. The taste is slightly piney and citrusy with a caramel sweetness. The mouthfeel I would consider cream with medium body and medium-low carbonation. There is a nice dry finish and lingering bitterness.

I liked this beer and was glad to try it. If I was Ohio I would have it again.

Served from the bottle into a nonic glass

A- Poured a hazy light golden color with two finger soapy head that leaves lots of chunky lace

S- Very astringent and sweet grapefruit, big floral notes. Very aromatic and pungent aroma

T- Very grapefruit forward, astringent grapefruit, some pine, caramel notes. Very hoppy IPA with a malt presence

M- High carbonation, creamy, and finishes dry

O- One of my favorite IPAs that I have to pick up whenever I am in Columbus

Thanks to HeadyHops81 for the bottle. Cheers!

Pours a medium orange color with just a touch of copper to it - nice color with just a bit of haze and a steady stream of fine bubbles. Long lived, creamy, rocky head leaves a wall of suds on the glass. Spot on for what I think a perfect IPA should look like.

Modest citrus and biscuit aroma that develops as the beer warms. The flavor also seems to change and gain complexity throughout the glass, maintaining interest, or even excitement. Layers of well integrated flavors that require some thought to pull out of a tightly-knitted whole. Citrus and pine, caramel and spice, a bit floral toward the finish. All in all, pretty dry, despite some distinct malt flavors.

Medium body with good carbonation. Refreshing and smooth.

Wow. This is a great IPA. Maybe my highest American IPA rating? I am glad to have had a chance to try this and would jump at another chance any time.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass, no bottle date

A - pours a pale amber with a 1.5 finger fluffy white head. Awesome head retention through the taste

S - Very aromatic with piney/tropical fruit notes pushing through from the hops

T - Taste closely mimics the smell, very hoppy up front with the pine tropical fruit combo with a bready/yeasty finish

M - A nice crisp light body mouthfeel

O - After being disappointed by the CBC winter warmer, this beer saved me on giving them another chance. A very solid IPA for $8.99/readily available in Ohio

12oz. brown bottle poured into an imperial pint.

A: Pours a nice clear golden color. Nice sized head on the pour with good retention and nice lacing.

S: Nice American hop bouquet, though not as potent as I'd expect. A bit of malty sweetness and cereal grain.

T/M: Good bitterness level and very clean. American hop flavors with pine and citrus. Nice low malt level with just a touch of sweetness. Body is medium to medium light with good carbonation.

D: Overall it's very solid. I'd heard crazy high accolades, so I'm a little let down. Maybe it's a touch old, idk. Very slid, though.

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad.

The beer is a hazy yellow hue with a small but lasting white head. The aroma is great, with plenty of hop and citrus scents. Hop forward and tasty. Really easy to drink. Nice and light. Perfect carbonation. A really solid beer. Recommended.

poured from 12oz bottle into imperial pint glass

A-good thing this was an imperial glass because it had over a 3 finger head on a pour that was not agressive at all but nice burnt orange color with lots of head retention and lacing

S-pine hops on this one I don't get a lot of citrus but I would say grapefruit

T-starts out with piney hops the a little pine sap with just a hint of citrus and carmel before the hops come back for the finish

M-nice carbonation medium bodied with a dry finish

O-got this in a trade and didi't know if I would like it, it's not bad but not really a style I seek out
