Had on tap at Market 65. Served in an Imperial/Nonic pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy gold with 2" of white head. Dispersed quickly to 1/4" head that lingered. Little effervescence visible.
Aroma: Light, airy, salty and bready.
Mouthfeel: Soft; not as slick as the last time I had it (bottled). More effervescence on tap than bottled, but low by any measure.
Taste: Clean, slightly tart arrival. Malty with a hint of citrus across mid-palate. Really firm bitterness on the finish. The strength of the finish was really surprising given how light the beer comes across otherwise. Balanced.
Overall: A really clean and quaffable summer brew. A little lacking in depth to make it a regular, but much better than the last time I had it bottled. I could see this being my go-to beer for neighborhood barbecues.

I was excited to try this spring/summer offering from Columbus Brewing Company. After all, CBC puts out some amazing brews.
Maybe it's just the style, but this this one doesn't stick out to me. The first sip reminded me of Yuengling lager, which isn't necessarily bad, but not something I would regularly buy... I'm not going to turn it down during the warm summer months. Glad I only bought one bottle though.

My first Kellerbier (I think?). On tap at Columbus Brewing Company and Restaurant in Columbus, OH.
Pours a clear orange, with a half inch head, and little dots of lacing down the glass.
Smells include lightly sweet malt, citrus, and some yeast.
The taste is pretty similar. Sweeter than I expected, with some sweetness between the citrus and sweet malt flavor. Very drinkable, quite crushable.
Light bodied, very drinkable, very sessionable. Crisp, low carbonation.
A great summer beer, and another great one from this brewery.
