Classic Stout
Inspired by our playground, the North Woods of Maine. Covers the spread of dark malt flavors perfectly: dark chocolate, toffee, cream + caramel.

Dark, deep color, even in the head. Foam dissipates quite quickly for a stout. Initial flavors are chocolate with a hint of coffee before the malty flavors come through, gently. Feels thinner than a traditional stout, definitely not as creamy as an Irish stout. A solid American stout but could use a bit more body and depth of flavor. Drinkable, but not outstanding.

Smell has a bit of choclate cake and hint of vanilla. The tase is pleasantly sweet but not artificial. The note of chocolate cake mix/under baked brownie remains strong on the pallette. This beer has a very smooth velvety texture with a bit of liveliness to its carbonation.
Overall this is a very enjoyable stout. Thank you banded for not making it about some crappy artificial flavor... Like peanuts.... Wink.. Wink... Nudge.. Nudge.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a cherry cola color with a 2 finger fluffy tan head. Pretty good retention. Leaves a crown of sticky lacing along the glass.
Aromas of dark roasted malts, baker's chocolate, mocha coffee, caramel and light hops. Straightforward for the style but very pleasant.
The flavor starts out with some burnt oak and leather. Then comes the roasted malts, milk chocolate, caramel and toffee. Slightly nutty. Subtly hoppy on the finish.
The feel is silky smooth and creamy as hell. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Drinks a lot more decadent and heavy than it really is.
Overall, a very good American stout. Whilst I enjoy the heavy adjunct-laden and barrel aged stouts, it's really nice to have a straight up stout like this again.

A very dark brown stout with little head and pleasant aroma. The first few sips were outstanding and impressive. Subsequent sips became less interesting and by the time I finished I was not as impressed.

Super dark pour with a nice big head. Roasted malt is pleasantly bitter, toasty, and dry. Solid stout.
