Served from a 500ml growler into a LA teku. 4 days old.

Appearance- Hazy orange with two fingers of foamy white head that left nice lacing.

Smell- Tons of grapefruit, tangerine, peaches. Lots of floral/grassy notes. No real malt presence.

Taste- Mostly grapefruit, apple, grass, light pine. Mild hop bitterness. Reasonably balanced malt backbone. Doesn't deliver as much as the smell had.

Mouthfeel- Medium body with a lower than "normal" carbonation. Mild hop bitterness remains. Off-dry. Slightly boozy.

Overall- A great new NH ipa. After smelling it, I wanted more of that great aroma in the flavor, but it didn't quite deliver. Still veryl good though.

Poured from a bottle (bottles sold 1-4pm weekdays, otherwise growler fills) in a tulip, three day old bottling. I had it on draft with a fresh keg the day before and I am not tasting too large a difference. Just a fantastic IPA. Beautiful nose, citrus, grapefruit, 2 finger lacey head that dissipates. Nice color, goes down well for 7.2% ABV, no bitter after taste. I am pretty pumped to be so close to the brewery. I'll be back to purchase a log.

Pure awesomeness. Enjoyed this IPA immensely. This new brewery really knows what they're doing. Delicious to drink, and leaves you wanting more. Well done!

Served on tap in a pint glass.

Appearance: A hazy straw yellow in color with a thin white head. Heavy lacing on the glass.

Smell: Strong hops and citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of bitter hops with a sweet citrus after taste.

Overall: Excellent IPA!

Pint from Portsmouth Gas Light Co. First sip was very bitter without much else going on, but as expected as it warmed up it developed a great citrus juicy character and lovely billowy hop burst on swishing. Still very strong on the bitter end, in my opinion overly so. Without a doubt an excellent IPA as it warms.

Ideal for a IPA fan who likes a low malt backbone. Piney, burnt orange nectar of the beer gods. My new favorite. Sadly up from New Orleans for vacation in Portsmouth and only a short while to enjoy. Get some if you can. Served in a short tulip glass at a perfect mid fifties temp. To-dye-for aroma. Made for high-IBU snobs (like me).

L - Impressive creamy head sits atop a beautiful light orange body. Light lacing as the head drifts down the pint glass.

S - Sweet smelling hops give the beer a creamy, almost sugary scent. Doesn't blow you away, but very well rounded with fruits and flowers.

T - Very sweet, a bit resiny... feels like biting into a peach, almost. Delicious in its fullness.

MF - Full body with this beer, low carbonation makes for an easy sip. It can leave a bit of a sour aftertaste, but it's totally worth it.

O - Exceptional beer here. My buddy some over and having no experience with the brewery, I didn' know what to expect. Happily surprised, though, this beer hit the spot. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys IPAs.
