Very dark for an English porter, so dark it could be a stout, black and opaque with an airy camel-beige head. Lovely, fruity, and chocolatey nose, with blackberries, honey, banana, and vanilla - somehow, very root beery, with rosy hops. Fruitiness dominates the flavor with a big berry perfume, but not without letting in a nice edge of roasted mocha bitterness. A touch of red wine rounds things our. A soft, light, smooth and dry body keeps this very, very drinkable.

On cask locally
Pours with a dark amber body, hinting on brown, creamy tan head with good retention
Smell, malty, some nice estery sweetness, some hint of roasted malt
Taste, dry and maltly, some nice bittering hops on the finish
An odd one, a porter? i doubt it, more like a brown ale but according to the brewery its a porter, still, pretty damn good
