Cool spot, with a comfortable and friendly vibe
Pints, samplers, growler fills
No food except peanuts on the tables
Some comfortable seating and several hi top tables. TVs with Espn on. Friendly service behind the bar
Come to fill up a growler, have a pint, bring in your own food. Better then decent neighborhood place to get some craft brew.

On a street that's lined with auto repair shops, don't be surprised that the inside looks a little like it might have once been an auto repair shop in the past! As you enter there's a small wooden bar on the left (for getting beers, not for sitting at), there's some seating and the bathrooms to the right, the brew house straight ahead of you, and another room for seating that leads out to the beer garden is on your left. It's industrial but they've done a fairly good job of adding some interesting features (the ceiling above the bar) and making it feel comfortable. Personally I like the really industrial look.
Unless there's a food truck they don't have food beyond hot dogs and chips but it's all about the beer now, isn't it? (They do have wine and slashes made from wine). There are 11 beers on tap and a cider. Some of those are available in 4-pks ready to go in a cooler, and there may or may not be some specialties like their barrel-aged barleywine. I don't remember if they do flights but everything is available in 5 oz. pours that range from $3-5 while larger glasses (8 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz.) depending on the beer run $6-8.50. The variety seems good with several lagers, IPAs, and stouts/porters as well as sours, reds, pale ales and so on.
The service is good, and it's quite casual and relaxed. I would not bring kids unless it's early and you intend to be in the beer garden, and I don't think that dogs are allowed inside but you could call to check. An additional bonus for those who take mass transit is that it's just a short walk from the Crestwood train station on the Metro-North.

I have been by a couple of times, but stopped in today to celebrate my recent birthday. Broken Bow Brewery is located on Marbledale Avenue in Tuckahoe, NY. The vibe is that of a working brewery with a fairly large and varied space for consumption in its midst. Tables tastefully chosen in various sizes and styles provide a seating capacity of 30 or so; my favorite are the cozy leather chairs in the corner.
The bar area has 14 taps (although only 9 beers were available of the day I visited). That said, the beers available are really interesting and of very high quality. The serving staff is also helpful and efficient. Limited food, e.g. New York-style pretzels (which are good) from Bronx Bakery and chips, are available. The brewery encourages outside food, which works out nicely as there is a pizzeria, Gina Marie's Chianti, directly across the street.
Definitely worth a visit if you want to try something different and are in the Tuckahoe area.

I wanted to like this place. I'm passionate about supporting local businesses, especially breweries, but this place didn't have too much going for it. I went on a Saturday with a few friends. It was dark and not welcoming. The small bar had two guys behind it pouring beers. There were a few guys just standing at the bar not getting out of the way for others and the bartenders didn't try to assist in getting waiting people beers. You had to go out of your way to get a beer. The floors were sticky and the place just looked messy and thrown together like a bad man cave. We tried a few pitchers of their beers and nothing was memorable or remarkable.

I've been here twice, converted industrial building, in a somewhat industrial area. Small L-shaped bar to the left of the entrance seats about 8 with some tables about the room. A dozen beers on tap, nothing spectacular, but solid. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender.
