In a nutshell: the beer selection is unrivaled in Mount Pleasant, the pizza is great, the service is hit or miss, and the atmosphere is themed eclectic pirate. The old bar in the building was some kind of 18th century (probably racist) Caribbean pirate fantasy, and for some unfathomable reason the new tenants decided not to take the decoration down. Oh well.

Beer selection: tap takeovers are regular, and they always feature multiple kegs of hard to find stuff. Hopslam was on for over three months, as well as Bourbon Wizard and The Liberator. The specialty pizzas are delicious (thin crust FTW), and the service is either excellent or completely abysmal.

They cater mostly to the college crowd, but the beer selection, trivia nights, and Happy Hours make this the best craft bar in town.
