Arrived as a bright golden color with some cloudiness. Good head and retention on the side of the glass. Aroma is citrusy with strong lemon notes. Mouthfeel is also very good with finer carbonation. Taste is very nice and echoing a lot of the same from the nose. Nicely balanced and not over the top on the citrus or lemon flavor. Refreshing.

A: Served a light golden color with a good head that fades to some lacing.
S: Aroma of citrus, grain and some spice.
T: Taste of malt sweetness, grain and bit of spice. decent bitterness and a fairly clean finish.
F: Light body, fairly smooth, a bit bland.
O: Beer is drinkable, non-offensive for the style. Went well with the meal.

While this was a nice looking pour, the flavor was rather forgettable. The requisite wheat and citrus flavors are present - with a nice creaminess - the body is just lacking. Too watery, and not much complexity in the flavor that is there.
With that said, I will admit this is a very refreshing beer, and would still be enjoyable on a hot summer day. Overall, though, not recommended. This brewery does better.

Sampled on tap at the Brewpub in Tokyo, Japan.
This ale poured a cloudy, orange-amber color with white foam that settled and did not leave lace. The smell was slightly fruity (bananas) with cloves, wheat, and malt also in the aroma. The taste was wheaty, slightly sweet and tangy, with some fruity banana and clove and yeast overtones. A nice flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and clean with a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste. The body was medium. This was a good, refreshing wheat ale, fit for the summer.
