West coast style IPA with loads of pacific northwest hops. Huge pine and grapefruit hop aroma, with flavors of citrus, balanced bitterness with a light malt character.

SuperPower IPA delivers an absolute beat down on the palate. And I love it. Tons of dank citrus, grapefruit, pine, resin, herbal, floral, and sticky oiliness with a juicy center and clean, bready, malty backbone. Full-bodied, not overly sweet, and ends dry.

Borders a Double IPA. But whatever. SuperPower IPA is one of the best American IPAs from Colorado, and arguably one of the best in the country. And drinking another beer after it is pointless, so you might as well have another.

Had three pints of this at Comrade then took a Growler home even though I was extremely broke. I walked to this place because my apartment is right next door and I drank half of it straight from the growler happily along the way. When I got home I poured into a classic British pint glass.

Look: Gold, shimmering, and clear with a pure white head an ample carbonation.

Smell: Glorious aroma bursting with juicy tropical fruit, papaya, melon, and grapefruit aromas leap from the glass. The aromatic head wafts a heavenly and subtle malt smell that backs everything up.

Taste: The hops taste exactly like the smell; juicy and bursting with beautiful tropical hues that are so ambrosial that it is almost unbelievable.

Mouth feel: Very smooth and yet crisp at the same time.

Overall: This beer is clean and drinkable. Definitely something special here, not your average IPA at all because of it's unique characteristics and I have had some of the best in the country. Thank you Comrade!

Full notes taken to my phone at Falling Rock Taproom, Denver, CO during consumption.

A- Pours with a pretty much clear golden body to a pint glass from the tap. A cap forms to half a finger or so but it looks like the glass is slick. One big sheet of lace with a few small spots and drizzle.

S- Dank hops are quite strong and the overall focus of the brew with plenty of other hop notes like citrus, stone fruit, pine and floral. Small amount of malts with pale caramel and cereal coming to mind. Mostly hops.

T- Citrus opens up quite a lot but the dank hops really reign supreme. Grapefruit, tangerine, orange, pine resin, flowers, apricot and dank nugs. Freshly cracked cereal grains and some sweetness. Light bread and yeast esters.

MF- Medium bodied overall thickness with a creamy and silky texture but not chewy. Carbonation fairly high and it supports the delicate hop flavors and cushions the higher ABV. Finishes with medium bitterness.

Drinkable and dank fruity IPA with plenty of pine and citrus as well. Always love the good completely random finds.

Fantastic IPA full of citrus notes on the nose and the pallet. This one will give any IPA a run for their money. A world class IPA out of Colorado, indeed!

My favorite CO IPA so far. This just checks all the boxes of an American IPA. Light golden color, big head and a huge nose of citrus and tropical hops. Hops bitterness and flavors follow the nose and demolish the taste buds. It is a bitter beer for sure but it is in between waves of citrus, melon, peach and other fruity hoppiness. with little to no alcohol detected and carbonated perfectly. It is a hop monster but very easy to drink (if you like IPA's) One of the few 5's I have given - I haven't I tried heady topper, Julius or any of the East-coast stuff but this stands up with or exceeds the best west-coast or midwestern IPA's (they exist...) I have had. It is truly a hoppy treat!

Squealer delivered to me by BA strongrepublican. Served into an oversized Belgian tulip.

Looks great. Clear, golden body with light, trickling carbonation. Sudsy, frothy white head that leaves a wall of lace in its wake. 5

The aroma is heavily floral, a tad herbal, and there are notes of grapefruit and orange along with a passionfruit flavor that takes a while to be noted. 3.75

I was a bit discouraged by this beer given the smell, which isn't bad but certainly isn't stunning either, but the flavor veers more into delicious territory. I'm assuming Mosaic was used for flavoring as this beer is tasting all types of melon-like, mango-ish, and sweet. This is followed by a bit of resinous, dank and zesty hop and yeast flavor. 4.25

Lighter side of medium as far as body, with a sweet, refreshing start, zesty middle and then an aggressively dry and bitter finish. A lot goes down with the mouthfeel. 4.25

Some great flavors here and I quite enjoy this brew, but I don't love the aroma, the bitterness is a bit over the top and finally the Mosaic flavors don't quite pop as I want them to. I mention these things because they are what keep this out of the 4.5+ territory.
