Very disappointed with this brew. Tried it in Changsha, Hunan Province in China. The beer was extremely tasteless. The aroma was very bland and there was more than average amount of foam and lace. The beer was somewhat pungent and the taste stayed in my mouth long after I swallowed it down. Not a very good beer.

First bottled craft beer from this brewery in Beijing. This can be found under 4 different labels, but they're all the same Red Honey Ale. The "Panda Eyes" seems to be the most common tho.
Orange to amber pour, high carbonation and big bubbly head. Low retention, sticky lace.
Smells of bubblegum, banana, flowers, acidic apple, so nice fruity hops, with some hints of caramel.
Sweet malty taste, with some different grains, a tiny bit syrupy, personally it reminds me of corn puffs. Ripe banana, red apple, some tropical hints (pineapple) and citrus. Floral honey hints. A bit of spiciness too. Low bitterness in the finish, with a bit of cloying malty sweetness afterwards.
Carbonation remains big, it's also a bit too light, almost watery.
Not bad, but still not in the same league as the imports in Beijing. Still, there should be kept an eye on the craft movement here.
