Original review from 2006. Edit: 2007: The beer has greatly improved, both in terms of quality and style. Some really nice IPAs on the menu, including a NE style hazy IPA.
Decent spot in downtown Calgary. The food here is excellent; if you go, I definitely recommend going for dinner. The beer was a little disappointing. Although the selection was decent (about 10 options), the beer menu consisted of fairly safe styles with two different IPAs being the most creative offerings. Had the porter, which was decent and IPA#2, which was good. Service was not very good.

Stopped in on a business trip.
Very fun vibe. Hawaiian theme (at least tonight) and groovy surf/jazz constantly played.
Service prompt, very friendly. Food typical bar/grill with some creativity and executed above part.
Selection is fair: 11 of their beers on tap plus a collaboration and a couple guest taps. I only wrinkle my nose a little at the lack of any darker styles. Only 1 (dunkleweizen... and a good one).
Worth a visit if in downtown Calgary.

Stopped in for a pint with my wife after a birthday dinner elsewhere. Where Amsterdam Rhino used to be, big space that had been renovated, it took me a few minuets to figure out where I was. I've only had two beers from these guys their IPA and More Money a DIPA and both were solid brews that have sparked my interest in these guys line up. I only noticed Last Best beers for sale but I could be wrong as I only really checked out the tap list. Our bartender was great, some Aussie girl who was super nice and chatty. Didn't try the food but I'm thinking this place might be worth revisiting when I have more time and an empty stomach.
