Pale lemon yellow brew, nearly transparent. Pours a predictably large snow white head with OK retention, fading before long to a pale reminder of what how it began its brief life. Lively.
Dusty and musty nose, along with straw and tart lemony notes. Light honey and bread. Lightly sour and vinegary, floral.
Flavor about matches what you expect given the nose: lightly sweet, tart, a touch sour. The Brett adds a musty character, rounding out the profile overall and giving it more depth without taking over. Champagne-like up front, with pears and apples; surprisingly sweet peach and guava notes on the second half.
Lively on the palate, crisp with a short finish.
A very fruity, lively, refreshing brew. Very enjoyable. More of a hoppy tart saison than an American Wild Ale.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, green session. Aroma has some stinky brett, damp cellar and fermented hay. Taste is tart, lemony and funky with some barn notes.
