I had this on tap at Federal Taphouse in Lancaster, served chilled in a tulip.
The color is golden with mild hazed appearance with white head and tight bead with good retention and streaks of lace left on the glass. The smell is mostly floral hops however a mild fruitiness from the yeast ester is present and there is some malt odors which come off as sweet in the aroma. The feel is good with moderate bitterness however the balance is more toward the sweet side with light citrus tanginess and medium carbonation the finish is semi-dry with medium body in general.
The flavor is good with moderately sweet malt up front leading to a lemon zest type flavor from the hops with a subtle spice taste. There is a good somewhat tropical aspect probably coming from the yeast or hops with light pine element. The only dissapointing part was that they call this a Wasabi pale and the description mentions a hint of that in the finish but there was none to be found in the taste, aroma or mouthfeel. Overall not a bad beer if you enjoy a pale ale on the lighter side, but dissapointing when you expect some wasabi based on the name.
