I like this. A standard craft lager made well. BB date of Aug 11,2015 so not super fresh.
A. Very light gold color
S. Not much here
T. Biscuity with malty lead notes. Crisp finish, and grassy tones
O. A very well made lager, will buy again if convenient but won't go out of my way to purchase

from a single into a stange

clear gold with a puffy 2 finger white head, nice nose of pale malt, corn, grain, a little hay, the taste is fine but a little too sweet on the end for me, and it lingers without any kind of crispness.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 8/3/2015. Pours crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of light lemon, cracker, biscuit, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of light lemon, cracker, biscuit, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. A good amount of dryness present as well. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and clean mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a nice Helles style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours clear yellow-gold with no head. Aroma is dominated by the lager yeast giving off tons of hay, with a touch of bread an lots of water. Flavor is much the same. Thin mouthfeel. Overall, this one was done in by the low abv. Watered down and lacking in all departments.

Pours golden yellow, with minimal inch head, and some lacing.

Mostly grassy hops, and lightly bready malts.

Straight forward lager, crisp, refreshing but not a lot going on. Just a lot of grass.

Not something I would purchase but still find acceptable.

Pours a clear straw color, very little head and no lace retention. Aroma has a slightly tart and sour element when first poured, later hay and then grain and malt as it warms. Taste is mostly grainy and mineral water. Not very complex. Very light feel.
Not a bad light beer to open up the palate, but nothing special either.

New to craft beers, but this one would be a regular IF I could get better access to it. Local place in Nashville (Craft Brewed) told me about it. Very good beer for a beginner that is NOT into all the hops and malts. Drinkable, and tasty. Give it a try if you are like me.

I keep falling more in love with Victory brewery every day. The look isn't great with a light yellow and medium carbonation and maybe I'm stuffy today but I don't smell a thing but the taste - oh man. Deep, rich corn and nutty flavor - this bear tastes so good!

A well done helles lager by Victory. Clean, slightly sweet grainy maltiness with hops only lending a bit of a drying finish. Great drinking lager. Lighter bodied. Could stand to add a little to the body Great tailgate beer.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into dimpled mug.

Appearance: Bright but pale straw with decent white cap.

Smell: Straw and hay mostly, with some dried out apple.

Taste: Malty with apple, pear, cereal grains, and straw. There is some light peppery spiciness at the finish. Some grainy aftertaste that macros often have as well.

Feel: Very light bodied with carbonation more in check than expected. Smooth and crisp but only semi-dry.

Overall: Decent Helles that would be a good crossover beer, but I have had better Helles Lagers, or I would just reach for a crispier Pilsner.

Bottle purchased at Nathaniel Square Corner Store in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a golden yellow, with a one inch head, and a good amount of lacing.

This one smells like slightly fruity lager yeast, grassy hops, and lightly bready malts.

This is a pretty simple lager, but tasty nonetheless. A little bit of honey sweetness, some grassy, spicy hops, and bready malts.

This is light bodied, with a crisp mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation.

Nothing super special here, but still tasty.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Solid finger of white head which settles into a thin patchy layer.

Smell: A crisp and bready malt forward aroma with hints of biscuit and spicy hops. Bready malt hints of biscuit, grains, cracker, straw, wheat, and yeast. Floral and spicy European hops with some grass. A solid light lager aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a nicely crisp and bready malt driven taste with notes of biscuit and spicy Euro hops. Upfront bready malt notes of biscuit, cracker, cereal grains, wheat, straw, and yeast. Spicy and floral Euro hop notes along with a light note of grass. A nice bready clean taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, clean, and very smooth.

Overall: A solid take on the Euro light lager style. Good crisp biscuit malt and Euro hop notes.

THE most beautiful beer I've seen. So crystal clear and the color is outstanding, pale golden. This beer smells like you want it to smell with the euro hops and malts. So clean is flavor and showcases what you can do with some serious skill behind a euro lager. While this is no BA RIS or some sour raz beer, it is what it is and it's an excellent version of that.

Close to 10 years of cra ft beer geekdom living in both the philly suburbs and south central PA and I have yet to try this Victory offering... Looking around for something new and unpretentious, this called out to me today from the shelves... An average pour yields slightly less than a fingers worth of audibly fizzy crisp off-white colored froth that displays minimal to no retention... It leaves behind a thin veil of splotchy lacing an thin collar... The color is an exceedingly pale golden straw... A light to moderate bit of average paced carbonation rises randomly throughout... The nose is simple and clean... Loaded with rich bready malts and cereal grains... A light euro hop presence... On the palate this one is a bit of a subdued version of the nose... Perhaps you can mix in a touch of lemon zest as well... The mouthful is on the fuller side of light bodied... A bit thin... A very limited bit of carbonation bite... Goes down rather uneventfully... A simple and somewhat enjoyable beer, but in the future I'd much rather opt for the Prima Pils, Stoudt's Gold or a Sly Fox offering to itch my Pennsylvania German lager itch...

12oz. bottle served in a pilsener glass. Enjoy by 15 Jun 2015 printed on the label. Pours a straw gold with no head, just a soapy, fizzy slick. Copious tiny bubbles are seen effervescing in-solution. Nose expresses cereal grains and a light, grassy quality. Taste follows nose - fairly clean with a faint sour mash skunk towards the back. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation and a crisp finish. Overall, simple, refreshing and quite drinkable.

Rated within style, this is easily one of the best lagers I have ever had!

Poured from a really fresh keg at a friend's party, I found this to be sweet, creamy, and refreshing. Much better than the bottled version, that I had prior to my days on BA.

Worth checking out if you can get this fresh.

Tolerable but uninspired, it's like they weren't trying. I sense there's a reason this was removed from the variety pack.

Bottle BB 16 Nov 14 at 40 degrees into standard pint glass
Aroma of lightly roasted malt
Head small (2 cm), white, frothy, rapidly diminishing to 2 mm ring and broken layer
Lacing none
Body light yellow, hazy
Flavor very light, slightly malty, ending slightly bitter. No alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate light, watery, lively carbonation

Appearance 2.75, Aroma 3.5, Flavor 3.5, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.3125. Final weighted score: 3.425
This is a decent lager, a statement that for me is often an oxymoron. It meets the criteria for a Munich helles lager in most details, except for the presence of chill haze. Not only does it meet criteria well, it also tastes pretty good. I may have to buy some more of this.
