I just purchased two six-packs from New World Wine Co. in Milwaukee which is from what I'm told, the first store in Wisconsin to offer Victory Brewing Co. brands.
Appearance -- Pours into my imperial pint glass a light orange amber color. Nice two finger head; quickly shrinks down to a one finger creamy white head. Carbonation is visible.
Smell -- Hops. Can just make out whiffs of grapefruit. It gets better as it warms. Pleasant and very enjoyable. In a way as the beer gets warmer it smells somewhat sweeter.
Taste -- Bitter hops. Hop Devil tastes just a little different than a lot of IPA's I've tried. The first couple of sips remind me of smoke. As the beer warms you get alcohol, but nothing overwhelming, as well as a grapefruit like finish.
Mouthfeel -- Medium to light. Creamy. You can feel the carbonation on the sides of your tongue.
Drinkability -- Very nice drinkability. I could probably get myself into a little trouble with this one. Easily one of the better IPA out there. Overall a very enjoyable IPA.

Poured bottle into glass. 6.7% abv.
Appearance- A brilliant and clear dark red amber with a massive foamy head on it.
Smell- Citrus; orange and grapefruit. Not much else....did I mention citrus? lol
Taste- A dual blast of malt and hops. The initial malt blast is somewhat of a toasty bread character. The hops remain through the whole flavor profile until a spicy hot finish. Notes of grapefruit along with hints of sweet caramel too. Wickedly complex.
Mouthfeel- Heavy body of which is thick and creamy.
Overall- A solid example of a great IPA. This was the first craft beer I tried years ago so maybe it has a sentimental impression on me, but nevertheless, it is damn good if you dont mind a complex bitter blast. The hops linger as much as any other IPA. A must try if you're a hophead.
