A - Golden brown almost amber color. One inch of creamy frothy head. Left a lacy sort of webbed ring of head all the way down the class.
S - Hoppy, malty, earthy. This beer smells amazing.
T - Amazing hop characteristics with malty undertones. it even has a faint sweet finish that pulls everything together.
M - Nice hop and malt balance on the toungue.
O - This beer is from the Gods (I've been watching alot of Spartacus). I put this up there with the best American IPA's I've ever had. This is a must have if you haven't already tried it.

Appearance: Clear amber color with orange edges, a thick, fine, creamy head, and beautiful sheets of lace.
Aroma: Citrusy hop aroma of overripe stone fruit, like peaches, or apricots. The hop character is a bit funky, like the fruit is slightly too far gone.
Taste & Mouthfeel: The medium bodied texture carries light, sweet, fruity flavors, and green, fresh hops on the tongue. The fruity sweetness combined with the grassy hop create the overripe stone fruit/peach character, with the finish presenting full, biscuity malt flavor, subtle pear, and spicy hop. The hop bitterness is well balanced throughout, but shows a bit too much resiny bitterness on rest (about 5-10 seconds after you’ve swallowed).
Final Word: This is a great IPA! It carries plenty of hop flavor, but offers a unique spicy, peachy, grassy profile instead of your typical grapefruit/bitterness combo found in many IPAs. While the bitterness was a bit too unpleasant after swallowing, it merely kept the beer from being perfect, not from being excellent. The texture and balance made for an extremely drinkable IPA, while still offering enough complexity and nuance to please any drinker. I particularly enjoyed the hint of pear in the finish, as it followed this beer’s trend of surprising you with many atypical flavors. This beer is a must try for any IPA lover, and should only be avoided by those that aren’t used to hoppy beers yet.

I love Victory DirtWolf so I had high hopes for this brew. Appearance, smell and mouthfeel was all good, but I was disappointed in the taste.
However, I then remembered that DirtWolf was a DIPA, and comparing wasn't fair, nor the intent of these reviews.
As a IPA, this was a good beer. No citrusy taste, but good hops and flavor.
