This beer pours a clear orangy color with a small amount of off white head that dissipates rather quickly and leaves some minor lacing.

On the nose I can pick up on a feint cirtrusy smell and a slight trace of hops, its on the sweet side.

Flavor wise its got a really sweet cirtrusy flavor, almost no bitterness at all, theres an orangy flavor that lingers on your tongue inbetween sips. Not very bitter at all.

Its got a nice level of carbonation and dry finish, nothing special, but pretty well balanced.

12 oz bottle, poured into hopdevil pint glass, my 42nd review, with my favourite beer to commemorate the hitchikers
A- beautiful lively amber, nice two finger head, stays for a while, good lacing
S - wonderful citrusy hops, lots of grapefruit
T- follows the nose, nice grapefruit, intense bitterness
M - creamy and easy to drink
O - my favourite beer, my only all 5 beer other than FBS

12oz bottle served in a pint glass.

pours a medium amber tone while yielding a 1" off-white head; medium retention and lacing.

nose packs a nice bouquet of citric and pine hoppiness with some muted malt characters in the background.

flavor follows the aroma with that strong citric / pine presence out front followed by some caramel maltiness. bittern hops persit through the finish and into the aftertaste. medium bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation.

overall a worthy IPA; not one that will knock your socks off - no wow factor here - but relatively tasty and enjoyable.

Best by date: April 29th, 2012---Yes--this should be fresh!

A: Pours a very nice burnt orange color that produced very little head.

S: Outstanding! Grapefruit, pine with some nice earthy, musty undertones.

T: Similar to the smell. Lots of citrusy grapefruit and earthy notes. Quite balanced with a nice bit of malt shining through.

M: Very smooth, medium carbonation, but a bit more body than a typical IPA (which this is not!)

O: A beautiful beer. Smells awesome, tastes great, not really overwhelmingly bitter, but just enough to get a nice alpha acid fix. Will enjoy again, and again, and...

In a pint glass:

A: clear amber/golden body with a white head that disappears within a couple seconds

S: earthy hops that isn't overbearing, light clove

T: bitter through the earthy hoppiness

M: light to medium, sessionable, sharp bitter aftertaste, no finish

O: this a pretty good AIPA, there is nothing overbearing in this beer and there is nothing that holds this back from being a superb beer

From a cask at the Petrol Station in Houston, TX

A - Poured a copper color with an off white head that leaves lacing behind

S - Is a nose full of citrus and piney hops

T - Follows the nose lots of citrus and pine hops with a touch of malt coming through

M - This beer has a great smooth medium body with lighter carbonation to it

O - I've had this beer many times but this is one of those IPAs that get better when its from a firkin the smoothing out from the cask just brings out the flavors a must try if you have the chance to get it cask
