A: Pours dark copper with a finger of head and nice lacing left behind.

S: More bready and biscuit notes than hops. DO get some floral hops.

T: Mild hops, (just had hop slam so everything is mild in comparision). More of brown ale malt taste I am getting than and IPA hoppiness.

M: Medium bodied, well balanced but missing the classic IPA bitterness.

O: Disappointed, personally was looking for more hops, a great blend and good beer, I would classify as a mild IPA.

12 oz bottle. Enjoy by April 30th printed on front; off center.

Clear amber color, cm of frothy head with decent lacing. Hop smell isn't too overbearing, 'tho it's pineapple and grapefruit kind of clashes with the warm malt and goes metallic. The taste is another story: the malt compliments the overdose of hops beautifully, bouncing back and forth between the bitter hop and the sweet malt. A little alcohol sneaking through is the only chink in the armor.

Not my favorite IPA, but right up there with the rest of 'em. Top notch brew.

A: Gorgeous ruby amber color. Crystal clear clarity. Some nice action from the carbonation. Head is fluffy and 2 fingers and very sticky. This is a really good looking beer.

S: Tons of citrus up front with a really nice zestiness. Some pine as well. It smells really crisp and refreshing. There is some malt sweetness in there too. Primarily showing up as some caramel of course.

T: Wow! This beer is like a slap in the face. In a good way. With hops. First is the hop showcase coming off primarily with citrus. It's clean and bright and a beauty. After that I get just a bit of alcoholic spiciness. It finishes malty in a caramelly way. Maybe just slightly bready. The finish is bitter all the way, just itching you to take another sip.

M: Really, really crisp carbonation which is a necessity with a beer like this. Really helps to get you through each swallow. Past that it's smooth with a medium body.

O: Excellent IPA! Not necessarily one of my favorites ever but I would absolutely drink it at any given time.

Simply a world-class beer and a world-class IPA. Pours perfect dark amber and has a nice off-white head. Plenty of delicious hops and perfect taste of a IPA. Some IPAs do not have enough good malt backbone, but HopDevil has it.

One of my desert island beers.

What a treat it is to have Victory's beers available on our shores. I've had everything from their range that we get out here multiple times, and it's pretty much uniformly terrific. Summer, while officially over, shows no sign of relinquishing it's sticky grip on this part of the country, and if I had my druthers I'd have a fridge full of Prima Pils and maybe a couple of Helios saisons with which to ride it out. This beer, also, is really fucking good.

Pours a red-tinted orange with a wispy tan head. Still and maybe a bit flat, but gosh it's a pretty colour. Pretty standard nose of pine needles and caramel.

Big malt presence, more than even the nose lets on. Bread dough, caramel, maybe a bit of honey. At the same time the hops are going to work too. Pine, citrus pith, some earthy/herbal flavors. Not super-complex, but strikes a really good balance. Incrediblly full and silky mouthfeel. After each sip your palate feels properly coated with goodness.

Textbook US IPA. I like it an awful lot.
