Medium Amber Orange with moderate opacity

Two finger head reducing to one in a minute.

Bright grassy and hoppy aroma

Strongly hopped, tart almost an asafetida fore taste; anise, white pepper, grapefruit middle; lightly bitter aftertaste with salt and garlic at the roof of the mouth

Juicy and spicy with a slight effervescence

A good strong hopped ale suitable for pork, spicy foods like jerk or Thai, or BBQ sauced burger.

Victory finally ships to AL, so this is my first brew from Victory

A-Pours a vibrant golden brown color with yellow hues. Pretty clear all the way through and not very full. Head is a finger width and a nice soft, white color with good retention. Foam leaves a bit of lacing on the sides.

S-Grapefruit, pungent floral hops, lemongrass, some herbal spices, citrusy tart fruits

T-Sour lemon plays on the front of the palate as it fades nicely into an herby and floral hop middle with a nice bready finish. Well balanced between the hops, fruits, and grain based flavors. Leaves an astringent aftertaste of citrus fruits and hops with a lingering note of breadiness

MF-Creamy with a full body and a semi-dry finish.

O-Pretty damn good. Nothing too special, but definitely one of my favorite IPA's. Appearance and nose are a bit underwhelming, but I like how nuanced it is and the balance between hops, fruits, and bready malt is satisfying.
