Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass:
Appearance: Much darker than a hefeweizen or a wheat beer that I am used to .Nice apricot colored head with a dark, cloudy orange brown brew.
Smell: Smells like a belgian triple with strong fruity yeasty components. Vibrant and fresh smells come through with a touch of alcohol.
Taste: Tastes very refreshing. Has a good amount of acidity followed with some dark fruitiness behind it. Malty and yeasty.
Mouthfeel: Perfect carbonation, coats the palate well. Has a bit of an astrignety taste on the backend but smooth.
Drinkability: Despite the high abv, this puppy went down very easily. It has a great flavor, aroma and its easy to put a few of these back at at time.
Serving type: bottle
