A warm medium golden hue with a nice 1/2" head of loose off-white foam that faded quickly with little to no lace, all dancing on some slow carbonation. Nose is sweet, springlike, breezy and outdoors, with some mild hoppiness and malts drifting in.
The initial tongue is smooth, mild malt which surrenders to a soft hop peak. The two dance on the pallete, then slide into a deep, rich, almost syrupy sweet like. It reminds me of the way Golden Monkey or a good dopplebock finishes. The aftertaste is soft and bitter, warming. This was an excellent ride from taste to swallow.
If you, like I do, enjoy different sensations of taste throught a beer, give this a try.

I had this on tap at Victory Brewpub in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. This had a nice bready malt foundation that got a little better as it warmed, but still a bit too boozy for me.
