Nice looking beer. Amber colored, with a pure white head that settles to a thin layer, mostly on the edges and a little puddle in the middle of the glass. Not much of an aroma, but is there is pleasant. Slightly sweet and grainy. Very tasty. Chunky, but balanced. Feels creamy in the mouth. Complex, so it keep you interested and entertained.

This is a realy old bottle and already has tons of floaties. It tastes fine however, so I decided to have it and review it. It was Enjoy By April 2011. This beer is probably 3 years old then.
The aroma has lots of bready malt.
The flavor definitely tastes like a maibock. Lots of breadiness and caramel sweetness, some spiciness and herbal hops. There’s also some fruity esters in there too. The middle hits you with a bit of alcohol, but it’s not very offensive.
The finish is pretty dry, despite the sweet flavor.
Actually a very well done beer. Quite tasty and even better than certainly doppelbock options out there.
