Pours a cloudy golden color. Aroma is citrusy with a hint of banana. Taste is of spices and citrus fruits. Excellent mouthfeel and drinkability. Quite refreshing after a days work in the hot summer weather. Maybe I won't enjoy this beer so much if it was winter, but right now it's 95 degrees outside and this is what I needed.

Cloudy white-ish gold with a decent ivory head, lower carbonation than normal, and light lace. Fruity bubble-gum yeasty aroma with a light burnt plastic/rubber over time (?) sulpher (?). Tangy fruity citrusy taste but not your typical banana-clove hefe-weizen. Nice creamy but light mouthfeel.

Refreshing but not one of my picks for a hefe-weizen. I know this was fresh as it came from the brewpub; bought by a co-worker.

Beer was cloudy yellow with a smallish head for the style. Aroma was typical weizen smells of citrus, clove and a bit of grassiness. Flavor was very citrusy with just a bit of hop and grassiness with a drier than expected mouthfeel. A very drinkable beer and a fine example of the style, I would definitely drink more if I could get a hold of it.

Cloudy yellow, with a thin yet persistent white head.

Starts out with a lemony, wheat-y nose. Dry, lemony, spicy (clovey) flavor, with a slightly bitter finish. Let it warm for just a few minutes, and the cloves and bananas emerge, but the lemony presence remains there throughout. On an absolute basis, it's not quite the beer that, say, Franziskaner is. On the right day (80+ degrees, sunny, sitting by the pool) though I'd rather have this brew - the citric tang combined with the hefeweiss flavors make it the nigh-on perfect summer brew. These guys do SUCH a brilliant job.

This was the first brew I tried at the Microbrew Expo. And what a brew it is! It poured a tawny yellow color with a good head, the nose with a promise of good things to come. Delivering on this promise, this weissbeer has a great light wheat taste, coupled with a smooth and agreeable finish. Very refreshing ideal summer drinking. One of the standouts (IMO) from the expo.

Cloudy yellow body. Big frothy white head, in which I could hear the bubbles popping. Steady carbonation. Huge banana and clove nose. Crisp on the tongue. Cleaner than I expected. Some lemon comes through on the tongue. A little tingle in the aftertaste. Excellent summer quencher. Another Victory victory.

From the moment the first few drops of this beer hit the bottom of the glass I had a hunch this was going to be good. And in typical Victory fashion, the first taste did not dissappoint. Maybe it was the hearty, whole milk-like consistency when pouring...or maybe the rich cloudy gold color...or the exceptional aroma of banana & clove eminating and thick pillowy head. Outstanding mouthfeel and flavor as well. This one's a keeper for sure. Thanks Bill & Ron.
