12 oz into a pint glass.

A: Pours a clearish straw color, a bit too clear for my witbier preferences, actually. The head is a finger high, with a white shade. Retention isn't very good, but some webs of lacing are left on the glass.

S: There's a good amount of spicing here - lots of coriander, but not quite enough for it come off like a can of Underwood deviled ham. I'm also picking up some notes of orange peel and wheat. Basically, a typical witbier. Luckily all three elements come together fairly well.

T: Spices (read: coriander) hits the palate first. This quickly fades away, revealing some orange peel, cream, lemon, and wheat on the back end. It's simple, sure, but it's a freakin' witbier. It doesn't need six billion notes running around every which way.

M: It does the one thing a witbier should do more than anything: go down effortlessly. This manages to be soft (if a bit too astringent finishing) and dry all at the same time. Carbonation is on the lower side, as well.

O: Nothing here sets the world on fire - it's just a solid witbier that's so easy to kill. Actually, it's a bit more effortless than a lot of other wits. I could easily down two or three bottles of this on a hot day.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

A: Dull straw yellow with a good amount of haze. Creamy white head settles into a thin wispy cap. Small dots of lacing.

S: Wheaty, whiff or citrus (orange), subtle peppery scent, doughy yeast. A little bland and muted.

T: Thin wheaty impression. Orange peel. Peppery coriander and black pepper. Oily and herbal hops punch through. A bit pithy too. Doughy yeast toward the back. Doughy and peppery finish with traces of pithy hops.

M: Light bodied. Creamy, wheaty feel. Light tingling carbonation. It does not feel full and frothy enough; it comes across a bit watery in the end.

O: Just an ok take on the style. There are no serious flaws, though the body could use some more substance. It just comes off as bland. A very middle of the pack offering.

12 oz bottle. Pours light golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of wheat malt, yeast, banana, citrus and spices. Body is medium and smooth. Wheat malt, spices, candy sugar, banana fill the mouth. Finish is medium, semi-dry.
Taste more like Hefe than Wit.

Poured from a 12 FL. OZ. bottle into a pint glass. ENJOY BY: 09 MAY 2015.

Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy pale body with an almost non-existent head. Nice carbonation.

Smell: Sweet pale malt and tart/funky/sour aroma from the Belgian yeast.

Taste: Not overly sour nor tart. Sweet bready wheat malt. Nice flavor.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with massive amounts of carbonation. Very refreshing!

Overall: One of the better Witbiers in my opinion as I am not a big fan of overly funky sour Belgian beers.
