Appearance - Pours hazy copper with a sandstone colored 2 finger head. Fair retention, results in a thin but consistent layer of microbubbles across the surface. Lacing is spotty with little stick.
Smell - Sweet bread and caramel aromas, complimented by lesser spice and floral hop notes.
Taste - Caramel and mildly toasted bread character.Subtle earth and toffee. Light spicy hop turns a grassy bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, near silky finish.
Overall - I'd have to believe this one's been on the self for a good 8 or 9 months, but based on my enjoyment, I'd say it's held up well. This is one I'll have to try fresh come September/October.
