Aroma: Many have used the term "fruit juicy" to describe the aroma and I'd be inclined to agree. But I also get a sparkling white grape juice aroma as well. Probably one of the most unique hop aromas I've ever experienced. The aromas are definitely in the "citrus spectrum" but unlike any other American hop I've experienced. Clean fermentation character. No esters or malt character. Can't get past the sparkling white grape juice aroma. Wonderful.
Appearance: Slightly cloudy golden pour with a low thin white head. Laces the snifter wonderfully. No effervescence noted.
Flavor: More sparkling white grape juice. Light lemon lime citrus character. No malt base that I can detect. Balance is bitter. Finish is bone dry.
Mouthfeel: Light, spritzy with high carbonation. No heat, astringency, or creaminess noted.
Overall impression: One of the most unique Double IPA's I've ever had. I loved it. Seems very dry and thin for a double IPA but the unique aroma and flavor are lovely. Glad to try it.

Pours into a standard pint a clear dull yellow with a tightly formed one finger white head, the pour was not real awe inspiring by any means.Tropical fruits in the nose along with a bit of sweet onion, very fresh and juicy smelling.Flavors of grapefruit and mango are just dripping, almost like drinking mixed fruit juice,in the finish I pick up some vidalia onion, not much of a malt presence but a decent amount of sugary sweetness. This is a big fruity, juicy hopped IPA here, way to easy to drink.

12oz bottle poured to dogfish mini-pilsner glass. Appearance is golden with tones of yellow..smell is fruity, grapefruit, citrus, apricot..taste is smooth for suggested 9%abv. Starts sweet amd citrus, and finishes fruity, and smooth, "air-ee" light bodied creamy mouthfeel. Lemon rind and orange peel.,highlights the hop frehness and taste without being too bitter or cloying.. Lacing is foamy and sticky. Carbonation is medium, with a crisp dry feel on the finish..this is refreshing and admirable. Paired nice with kabobs-cucumber yogurt sauce, grilled meat chimmichurri, mexican corn with cotija, feta.
