Fully juicy in its citrus character with the pleasantly sharp, biting edges of tart fruit and bitterness, Hop Ranch Imperial India Pale Ale traces its roots to Victory’s Ranch series, a unique and comprehensive study of hops in which Brewmasters experimented with different hop varieties to showcase a range of flavor profiles and celebrate the nuances and distinctions in the resulting series’ recipes.

A - Poured int a snifter. Appears a hazy grapefruit orange with a fluffy white head. Nice lacing and the head reduces to a bubbly suds that rest in the epicenter of the glass.

S - Fresh hops, big citrus notes - grape fruit, orange peel, citrus rind.

T - Juicy citrus hop bomb - follows the nose with hop forward and citrus and grapefruit notes, slightly resinous and dank. Crisp and refreshing mouth feel.

O - Really an slam dunk must have DIPA - love the fresh hop forward and juicy hop bomb.

A - Pale yellow, golden color, some opacity, white head, with lacing. Very pretty.

S - First sign of an issue. There is strong, strong fruit of citrus, maybe a little mango. All good, but there is a vegetal odor coming across as onions, and some hint of ammonia. Such great notes mingle with the less welcome one, making this a mixed bag.

T - Following the smell, with fruit up front. The grapefruit element is first, but you have other notes too, of peach, and mango primarily. The onion element is more hidden, but still present. Close is slightly bitter.

M - Crisp and amazingly easy to drink. No sign of that ABV.

O - I enjoy the fruit, the snappy clean finish, and easy drinkability, but I am not a fan of onions in my beer, and the ammonia smell also was unpleasant. About half a great beer, and the rest not so much.

12 oz bottle to a tulip glass

A- pours a pale golden yellow. with a 1 finger head nice sticky lacing

S- garlic, onion up front. tangerine grapefruit, apricot, peaches and lemon. Pine notes, cut grass. earthy and hoppy

T- spicy citrus, slightly herbal. massive citrus notes, peaches, pineapple, apricots and grape fruit, just wildly fruity, tons of flavors throughout this thing. this is leaving a hop aftertaste on my tongue, fantastic clean and dry bittery finish on this one.

M- Medium bodied, a little thin for a 9% abv but no booze detected at all. nice carbonation helps with the fruitiness of the beer and finishes nice and dry

O- victory hits another homerun, this beer is delicious, clean, packed with pungent flavor. victory is doing some amazing things with hoppy beers lately i hope they keep it up
