Pale yellow in color with a slight chill haze. Poured with a short white foam that quickly reduced to a wispy cap. Fabulously intense aroma. Ripe pineapple, and tropical fruit aromas with dank, earthy, funky hop aromas in tow. Light bodied with tight, tangy, refreshing, aggressive carbonation through the middle to the finish. Earthy, dank hop flavors up front, followed by spicy and minty flavors through the middle. Spicy flavors intensify and add on pine hop notes from the middle to the end. Finished crisp and dry with lingering spicy and pine hop bitter aftertaste. Probably the best "light" IPA I've tried to date.

On tap at Proof. Clear straw in color. Centimeter of bright white head that holds up pretty well. Head faded into medium collar and some wisps. Citrus and floral hops in the nose with a touch of spice. Light body and high carbonation give this a decent mouthfeel. Taste is light malt, lemon-grapefruit citrus, and grassy.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Pint.

Appearance: Very light straw with rapidly diminishing head.

Smell: Floral and citrus, crackers and tea. Fairly subtle.

Taste: Similar to the aroma, but sharper. Nice cracker and tea malt backbone, with maybe some light fruit touches. The hops are quite floral and citrusy. Finish is more spicy than bitter.

Feel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Dry and crisp finish.

Overall: Pretty good "Session IPA" overall. Reminds me of Founders All-Day IPA more than anything else, but not quite as strong.

The pale session IPA is a paler shade of gold than the dry hopped pils, very light pale malt base. Bright white head, fine speckled lacing left around the sides of the glass. Equally impressive though in aromatics and flavor departments as the hop ticket pils...as far as I'm concerned Victory is three for three the Hoppy Wheat is great as well. Aroma has citrus peel, lemon notes mainly with floral highlights and earthy qualities. Great smelling hop bouquet will leave all your senses ready to taste this beer as well as the great smelling brew. Flavor wise it's got a great hop punch some would say semi watery texture, I disagree on that. There are enough hop flavors of bitter citrus peel, floral notes, and earthy dankness to give a slick oily texture to the mouthfeel even carbonation carries everything so well. Very good hoppy session IPA, thanks to the folks at Victory for jumping on the bandwagon and doing it just as well as the originators if not better. Victory always has the edge when it comes to hops because of the whole cone hops that they use in their brews. This past year the DIPAs...Hop Farm, Dirt Wolf, Victory Liberty Bell Ringer, and now this hop ticket series...what's to come??? The new one of IPA series called Moving Parts!!!

Pours an effervescent golden in my Icelandic Viking pint glass. Huge head (nearly overflowing) of fine, white bubbles. Thin, wispy spiderweb lacing.

Nose is crisp citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Obviously heavily hopped, this is an extravagant and oh-so-impressive start.

Taste is sharp and ultra-hoppy, with tons of tropical (pineapple, mango) and citrus notes jumping out instantly. A really wonderful session IPA, and one that deserves wider release. Definitely a superior and world-class IPA!
