12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a clear straw color. The head is one finger high, with a fluffy texture and a white shade. Retention isn't the best, though. As the head recedes, streaks of thin lacing are left on the glass.

S: Victory did a great job of packing fresh tropical notes into a smaller brew. Mango, grapefruit (not tropical, but bear with me), guava, and papaya appear relatively vividly for the gravity. If it didn't have a weird onion-y-ness (uh oh, Mosaic?), I'd easily give the nose a 4 - still, that's really just nitpicking.

T: Tastes just like a baby DirtWolf. A subtle combination of tropical fruits, pine, and flowers give way to a crackery malt finish. It starts off bitter, only for the aforementioned malts to keep it from ravaging the back end. It's really well balanced - if rather simple - and does a good job of showing off its hop profile. While the malts are very light, it manages to avoid being watery.

M: As expected, this is as crisp and light as nothing else. Even better, it doesn't stab the tongue with excessive bitterness or carbonation. Make no mistake, this beer is quite dry - and yet, it manages to be just substantial enough. How's the best way I can put it? Okay, how about this: it comes off like a 4.5% beer normally would, but the hop flavors prevent it from being dinky.

O: I could see why someone might call this hop water. This is very dry next to something like All Day or Go To, but not really all that bitter. Honestly, as far as light IPAs go, this is second only to DayTime in my mind. The other two bottles in the 12 pack will be slain with minimal effort.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and lovely carbonation. Aroma is of citrusy and piney hops, oranges and bready malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Citrusy, piney hops, bready malt and lemon zest fill the mouth. Finish is long, dry, and bitter. Nice, tasty brew.

Poured from a 12 FL. OZ. bottle into a pint glass. ENJOY BY: 15 OCT 2014.

Appearance: Pours a yellow body with a thin white head.

Smell: Juicy citrusy hop aroma from the Citra and Simcoe hops. Very nice!

Taste: Wow! Nice tropical fruity hop flavor. Tart and tangy. Decent malt body holds up well despite only being 4.5% ABV.

Mouthfeel: Light summer refresher, but in no way watery.

Overall: One of the better session IPAs I have tried. A lot of bitter hop flavor without being watery. Simcoe hops dominate the palate.
