Poured into a New Belgium snifter
A - Golden sunset, half finger head, some lacing
S - HOPS, MALT like crazy up front. Soil, grass, barley, grain, maybe some wheat and a bit of pine and other wood
T - Pine and floral hops, a bit of toasted malt and grain, bitter sweet malt, some earth and wood. Very nice bitterness
M - Light, fluffy, carbonated. No film but bitterness hangs around a while
D - Drinks like a standard IPA, but the bitterness of an imperial or double.
Final thought - Name says it all, the price is a bit steep at $12 a sixer
Serving type: bottle
