On tap at Victory, Downingtown PA.
Appearance: Very big, very frothy head. Stuck around through the whole drink.
Smell: Absolutely barnyard. If I didn't know it, I swear I was at my Uncles farm.
Taste: Barnyard funk that was probably the most Horseblanket taste I ever had. The taste was so unique, I could not stop marveling at it. Not for everybody, though my wife liked it which was very strange. Could not detect too much on the Hop side. People say to let this one age, I like it the way it is now, the funkier the better.
Overall: I will seek out as much as humanly possible.
Edit to original Review. I cellared a couple of bottles and interestly enough the hop side comes out more with age. I prefer the damp, blanket taste.

750ml bottle dated 6/11/14 poured into a tulip
A: Burnt orange with a lingering one-finger head
S: Sweet malts, yeast, a bit of earth/bretty funk
T: Sweet malt again, hints of citrus/pine from the hops, barnyard/earth from the brett and spice to round it out
O: Won't be memorable but solid and worth trying

Keeping it real like a hypothesis and hitting this brew with my Desert Eagle, it's legal and it astonishes. This brew is just too damn sexy looking. Lean and clean with a lot going on in the dome. Deep amber with a slightly off-white 1/2 finger crown. She looks neat, how does she smell? First this aroma is balanced between hops, malts and Brett. Tangy lemon pepper with some floral goodness. She also has that musky funk, she may look clean but deep inside but you can tell this girl gets down and dirty. The malts smell slightly toasted and bold. Let's get a taste for this Wild Devil. Well rounded, musky funk with citric, a little pineapple and resinous hops. The malts are sweet, biscuity and balanced with a resinous hop and slightly cheese aftertaste. Oh finishes slightly dry and bitter and on time and brassy. The feel on this Devil is medium-light body and par carbonation.
Overall: This is an interesting take on the Brett IPA. Is it the most adventurous, no. Is enjoyable, yes it is. This beer is pretty balanced, hoppy and funky. This brew is worthy.
