First had: on tap at Casey's, Newtown Square, PA

Assuming this is an alias for Yakima Twilight...

This beer pours a dark carameled amber color with a nice off-white head that laces well. Caramel aroma, fresh piney hops. Taste of toasted bread, honey and caramel, piney hops in generous quantities. Mellows out and gets a bit smoother as the temperature rises. Medium mouthfeel, and quite a good drink overall.

Taken from notes.

A- Pours a dark, but clear, reddish brown with a 2-finger khaki head. Very good retention and lace.

S- Smell is of hops up front. A little astringent aroma as well. Just a touch of sweetness. Alchohol is present. Smells of an American Strong Ale smell.

T- Bitter, piney hops, touch of alchohol, but malt is there. Again, more like an American Strong Ale.

MF/D- Full bodied with good carbonation. Drinkability is good for being big on the palate. Again, not to be a jerk, but this should be an American Strong Ale.

Enjoy by 12/17/10- A few days late but worth a shot.

App- A very dark amber/brown that lightens from top to bottom. A nice 1 1/2 finger head that was pretty flat and didn't retain very long.

Smell- Smells of citrus, nuttiness and had a touch of spice and some medium hops.

Taste- This has a lot of spicy hops behind the flavor but it also has tastes of some earthy herbs. Also had that nice bitter taste on the backend.

Mouth- It's a medium bodied beer with a pretty high carbonation for the style. Was a little creamy during the drink while it warmed.

Drink- I like what Victory does. Solid beers and not too over hyped. Will have to recommend this to some friends.
