Poured from 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. No date on the bottle, but seeing how it's a summer seasonal and it's now late January, I'm going to assume that it is close to, if not past, it's freshness date.
A: Pale straw yellow, cloudy, almost looks like a cloudy macro adjunct at first glance. 1 finger of solid white head dissipates rather quickly, not much lacing to speak of.
S: Nose is skunky and citrusy. The citrus almost smells like maybe lemon or lime. Not off to a great start so far...
T: Tastes a lot like it smells, but it actually has some depth and interesting twisty turns. Starts off with skunk akin to Heineken or Corona, not to an unpleasant level, but skunky nonetheless. Mid palate is lemony, not lemonade lemony, but a hoppy lemony bitter/sour. It actually tastes pretty good, it seems a bit awkward at first, but it works well. Finishes dry, almost to a fault, with bitter hops and a sour citrus lemon and possibly orange peel aftertaste, but it's not pucker up sour/bitter. It tastes pretty nice, actually. It wouldn't sound like a good combination to me if I read this, but I'm not disappointed at all, it's pleasantly surprising.
M: It's a light bodied beer, but on the heavier side of light, not watery, I'd call it near medium (but still not quite medium). It's a little higher carbonation, probably a notch or two above medium carb, definitely has a higher amplitude of tongue tickle. Leaves the mouth very dry, bordering on unpleasantly dry.
O: I wouldn't seek this beer out, but that's of course subjective. I'm not a huge fan of the style, but it's still a very drinkable beer and will probably surprise you in some aspects. The flavor has lots of interesting twists and turns, and it definitely works well, but it's still not my thing. It's good for the style, and since I'm attempting to rate objectively, it still gets a decent score in my book.
Personal re-buy level: meh. Falls in the good beer category, but not in my personal great beer category. I like a lot of this brewery's beers (a lot), but doubt I'd buy this one again.

Pours a brilliant golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates.
Cracker-like malt, grain, floral and earthy hops, a touch of dankness and citrus form the aroma.
Flavor reveals floral hops, a grainy malt backbone, and finishes fairly bitter, grassy, and dry. Light grapefruit pith adds complexity. The balance is toward bittering and grassy, earthy hops..
Body is a touch light, with moderate carbonation, and slight astringency at the finish.
More bitter than I prefer, but more complex than I anticipated. Very refreshing brew.
