With the sublime, earthy familiarity of noble European hops backed up by fresh, clean German malts, Summer Love Ale ends with a surprising burst of lemony refreshment from fistfuls of American whole flower hops. Love Summer, now.

Summer Love is a great seasonal offering from Victory Brewing. It has the flavor and robustness of an ale but is smooth like a lager. The pour is a great tan color with a white heqd of mediu, bubbles. The head is about one finger amf turns to wisps as you drink, but laces the glass for the whole beer.

The smell is spot on with peppery amd spicy hops dominating. A light yeast aroma can be detected but it mostly the aroma hops from the brew.

The taste is slightly sweet on the tongue with a hop spice toward the end. The hops linger lightly aftet the sip and leave a nice clean aftertaste.

Summer Love has a great summer beer mouthfeel. It is smooth but not thin and doesn't leave a sticky aftertaste. Good for lunch, dinner, or a session!

Summer Love is a great summer offering from Victory. The taste is good and well balanced. The beer is smooth but not thin and can serve as a refresher or a session beer. If you come across this brew in any form during it's short summer "vacation", be sure to grab one and experience the Love!

On tap at the Mellow in Greensboro.Poured into a standard pint a clear light golden with a sticky 1/2 finger bone white head.Citric and herbal hops dominate the nose along with a toasted malt base, really liked the big play on the hops.Flavors of citrusy hops provide the main flavor component along with light herbalness,a dryer toasty malt base holds true to the finish. This is a great summer beer,a great hop profile and very drinkable, well done Victory.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is honey, malts and a little noble hops.

The flavor is grainy malts and grassy hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK subdued hoppier blonde ale. Not too exciting.

12 ounce bottle, without freshness info.

Pour is clear, dull golden amber. Loose, eggshell white head, Leaves some minor spots of lacing.

Light spice of peppery hops on the nose.

Pleasantly light, crisp and hopped up blond.
Quite dry, bready malts, more pepper infused hops. Quite enjoyabe, as the label says "at the ball park or under a shade tree"

A lot of flavor and character in a lighter bodied beer. Fine summer drinking.

Appearance: 1/3 inch head, light yellow in color, clear, high carbonation

Smell: piney and citrus hops

Taste: piney hops with some grassiness

Mouthfeel: high carbonation, light bodied, bitter, but not overly so with light sweetness in the back

Overall: Very drinkable, bitter beer that I see as a good lawnmower beer. I could have a couple or just as well pass. Decent, not great
