With the sublime, earthy familiarity of noble European hops backed up by fresh, clean German malts, Summer Love Ale ends with a surprising burst of lemony refreshment from fistfuls of American whole flower hops. Love Summer, now.

$1.79 for a 120z bottle @ BevCo. Brewed with "Imported 2 row German malts, whole flower Tettnang Tettnang, Simcoe and Citra hops" 5.2% ABV

Pours out to a slightly hazy very pale golden, forming a tall rocky white head with excellent retention and lacing. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs or so. The nose on this bottle is slightly skunked, but I don't mind. No DMS. No diacetyl. One can still get a delicate crackery malt base and perfumy fresh green hops. Wonderful nose. Smells like a great German Pils. Mouthfeel is very soft with a very light, crisp and clean body. The taste is wonderful, and a recap of the aroma. Wonderfully balanced bitterness with great hop character and great delicate malt character.

This is a fantastic beer. Expertly crafted and brewed. I would call it a German Pils with the added pungency of Simcoe and Citra. Totally love it. I could drink a 6'er of this easy during a day at the beach or an outdoor barbecue with family and friends. Highly recommended.
