Pours a hazy golden orange with a frothy white head that fades fast. The aroma is inviting, more than I expected from a pale ale, nice hop aroma, citrus and grapefruit notes, subtle malt is there as well. The taste starts with a nice hop punch, bitter and citrus hit immediately. Subtle malt flavor mixes with the hops as it finishes with the bitter coming back, then has a nice citrus aftertaste. This one has a medium mouthfeel, somewhat smooth, with a nice balance of different flavors. Overall a good beer, nice flavor, crisp and well hopped.

Clear copper color with a full two finger white head. Good retention as the head settles down to a thin blanket on top of the ale. There is a good amount of lacing around the glass as well.

The aroma has a clean hop profile to it. Citrus fruit, floral notes, and hints of pine. Yet, nothing is over the top or in your face. Biscuit like malt and some alcohol sweetness.

The fisrt flavor to hit the palate would be the floral and citrus hop. But, the hop is blanced out by the buiscut, and soft bread malt. There is a small amout of alcohol sweetness, but the finish is clean. Finish is clean and quenching with pine hop notes lingering for a bit.

Mildly carbonated with a medium/light body

One of the best APA's I have tasted it a long time!! I hope this is a year around Pale Ale.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a tulip glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden orange with a finger of fluffy white head that settles to a thin layer.

Smell: Citrus notes, fresh hop aroma, slight hint of sweet malt.

Taste: Citrus is the highlight of the flavor profile. Juicy grapefruit and mango, with a slight hop bitterness and a sweet aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, crisp and clean.

Overall: Very impressed with this beer. I'm looking forward to drinking this in the summer months as it is really refreshing.

A- Pours cloudy light orange. A scant finger of head and lacing like a splash of white color on the sides of the glass.

S- Hoppy, a bit sulfury, a bit chalky. Besides the strong hop notes, this isn't an awesome smelling beer. But luckily the hops are pretty strong.

T- Lots and lots of hops- lime, grass, lemon, tangerine. I'd say a lot of citrus with a splash of green. There more earthy on the back of the roof of my mouth, but besdies that, pretty citrusy. And very powerful. I was very surprised to see this was barely over 5% alcohol, as it has the taste of a much stronger beer.

M- Just the right amount of bitterness for my tastebuds. While the sweet flavors aren't really there, there is enough sweetness to mellow out the bitter, so that works.

O- Very nice stuff. A pleasant drinker with a powerful hop punch without a ton of alcohol.

twelve-y poured into a pint glass.

comes out a nice shade of orange with a pure white head that has great retention and decent lacing. the nose is powerful and full of doughy malts with oily hops citrus and grapefruit. tongue picks up doughy malts again with a piny hop character to it. its pretty good but nothing too amazing. this is a light bodied brew with medium carbonation. not too much of a hop bite on this which is good. overall its a decent beer but nothing that i'd go out of my way to find.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Dogfish Head shaped pint glass. Enjoyed while watching the Sabres battle the Flyers in game 5! Let's go Buffalo!

A: Crystal clear pale copper color. Aggressive pour leads to a big 3 finger fluffy white head that dissipates quickly to spotty lacing. Very light stream of bubbles randomly make their way to the top.

S: Pretty typical pale malt smell with a nice presence of piney/grassy hops as well. Quite a nice aroma for a pale ale.

T: The taste is lacking a bit although it's not offensive. Malt is the main flavor here with some alcohol too which is unexpected given the low abv.

M: Light body, heavy carbonation...lots of tiny bubbles coat the mouth. Leaves a lingering mouth coating which is delightful and leaves me wanting more.

O: Overall this is a really solid pale ale that I'm glad I bought a six pack of. It's not one to write home about but I would gladly get it again.
