12 oz. bottle with "enjoy by" date stamped on label. This is a very attractive pour: clear, bright and shiny gold with a slightly off-white head that dissipated leaving intricate lacing.

After opening the bottle, the unmistakable, bittersweet fruity american hops greets the olfactory.

This is a celebration of hops, yet it is never over the top. The initial sip is restrained, fresh grapefruit flavor with a very nice, soft and light, sweet malt coming through to balance the flavor.

The body is light which is perfect for this crisp, hoppy thirst quencher. Slight hop bitterness gently coats the palate. The zesy carbonation adds to the refreshing qualities of this APA.

The market seems crowded with a lot of these hoppy, american style pale ales. The overall quality of this offering sets it apart from most. With the low ABV, this is very sessionable. And great thing about this product, you can always know you have a fresh bottle with "enjoy by" date clearly marked.

A- Pours cloudy light orange. A scant finger of head and lacing like a splash of white color on the sides of the glass.

S- Hoppy, a bit sulfury, a bit chalky. Besides the strong hop notes, this isn't an awesome smelling beer. But luckily the hops are pretty strong.

T- Lots and lots of hops- lime, grass, lemon, tangerine. I'd say a lot of citrus with a splash of green. There more earthy on the back of the roof of my mouth, but besdies that, pretty citrusy. And very powerful. I was very surprised to see this was barely over 5% alcohol, as it has the taste of a much stronger beer.

M- Just the right amount of bitterness for my tastebuds. While the sweet flavors aren't really there, there is enough sweetness to mellow out the bitter, so that works.

O- Very nice stuff. A pleasant drinker with a powerful hop punch without a ton of alcohol.

Back lit, the beer is a clear, straw gold with a lingering white head. Biscuity malt with an earthy spice for the nose. FruitA little research pulled up a note from Lew Bryson that it's Citra/Centennial hops as the American hops. Caramel and sweet on the tongue with a slight tang from the hop bite on the back of the tongue. Bitterness from the Citra lingers and builds further into the beer. I like the beer more as I go--better than the initial taste. Named for the local waters that supply the brewery, this is a good strong pale ale that is on par with all of Victory’s offerings.

A-pours a semi-transparent light amber/orange color with a slightly off white foamy head with good retention.
S-bit of sweet malt/honey, with moderate citrus and pine hop aroma
T-Citrus and malt up front followed by a bit of pine bitterness that is followed by more malt sweetness. Citrus bitterness lingers on the palate
M-medium bodied
O-Really well balanced beer with tons of flavor but still extremely drinkable. Look forward to having it again.

A - pours a clear golden yellow with a nice pile of white head that maintains to a thin cap that coats the glass. Good lacing.

S - lemon grass, citrus, yeast, grains.

T - Hop forward - citrus and piney. Faintly sweet, yeasty. Finishes bitter on the back end.

O - Nails it for me on the APA style. Aggressively hopped and that is a good thing.

Poured from a growler with a one finger bone white head. Very clear bright copper. It's so clear it's actually quite attractive. Smells of some spicy nutty piney hops. There's a malty sweetness in there along with some lemon zest. The taste doesn't hit as hard with the hops up front. Starts a bit nutty and has a herbal, earthy, pine with that lemon zest hop notes. Ends with some roasted malt notes. Mouthfeel on this is hard to judge since it's from a growler. It has a milder carbonation and feels fairly round on the tongue.

Overall, I really need to try this bottled or on tap to gain a better gauge of the mouthfeel. It's tasting fantastic and is a solid pale ale.
