I had this on-tap at Pizza Paradiso in Old Town.
Served in a snifter.
A: Poured out a fairly bright orange color, with ever the slightest bit of crimson also. The head was fairly marshmallowy.
S: Pow hops! However, this wasn't quite as saturated as many West Coasters out there. I also got a nice fruit undertow here as well.
T: Right away, I got Victory's signature yeasty taste profile along with a substantial fruit bill as well. Hell, I even burped fruit!
M: Did I mention that hops were in this? Lots of lacing for sure, bitter, but the yeast cut that down to size as well as the sweetness, which wasn't syrupy at all.
O: I usually don't turn to Victory whenever I want to get my hop on (I don't like Hop Wallop and Hop Devil is just ok in my opinion), but this one worked for me.
Serving type: on-tap
