On tap at World of Beer Raleigh
A - orange with a huge white, thick, foamy head that has great retention
S - hugely flower like a bouquet of flowers
T - light malt presence, spicy, herbal, peppery, floral, well hidden ABV
M - medium bodied, smooth, well carbonated
This is a nice beer. It's immensely hoppy and showcases layers of hop flavors. The ABV was also completely masked which made this dangerously drinkable. It was definitely a great drinking experience.

Ranch Double IPA 369 Hop Edition
Victory Brewing Company
Style: American Double / Imperial IPA
ABV: 8.70 %
LOOK: Deep copper colored brew exhibiting a fine clarity. An inch of head forms, leaving some sparse lacing on the glass. Appears like a solid pale ale.
SMELL: Piney, resinous hops, herbal, sappy nose. Some malt sweetness lingers in the background. Smells like all things hoppy and prosperous.
TASTE: Pale, honey like malt character upfront with a crisp hop bite. Bright, citrusy, semi-tropical hop also showing some big herbal and pine notes. Enamel stripping bitterness. Alcohol is present but the flavors are undeniable. A damn tasty, well made double IPA with a west coast flavor.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium to full bodied, well carbonated and smooth. Crisp, drying hop bite. Spot on for the style and very nicely rounded ale.
OVERALL: Using an experimental, American grown hop, this ale highlights the strain with a west coast finesse. Possessing a trademark distinct strong hop tone that many Victory products contain, along with some unexpected fruit notes. Simply getting the best of this hop, which is a very tasty variety. Easily a great Double IPA, and hopefully soon to be a regular offering.
