Poured into a small tulip glass a hazed lighter golden with a bone white fluffy head atop.Aromas of medicinal hops and yeasty phenols mainly,a bit of toasted grain as well.Lightly citric up front on the palate with some toasted cereal grain, the phenols come in and provide some spice,a shot of herbal hops linger in the finish.A nice session saison it has some phenolic qualities wich Iam not a fan of but it's refreshing.Solid.

A: A pale gold beer with good clarity. The rocky, white head has decent retention.

S: A medium-strong Belgian Pilsner malt aroma with spicy and lemony aromas. Some of the spice seems to be from the hops some from the yeast. There is a low graham cracker like note to the malt.

T: There is a crisp pils malt flavor with a medium hops bitterness which seems a bit stronger as the beer is a bit lighter. There is a medium amount of black pepper and bitter citrus peel flavors. The balance is dry and somewhat bitter with a dry finish.

M: A Light boded beer with a very strong level of carbonation that gets a bit drying on the palate.

O: Hit the mark on being a flavorful, low alcohol beer wish would be a refreshing choice for lunch if you had been working the farm under a hot Summer Sun. The flavors profile is a bitter light but the flavors see strong against the lighter backdrop.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is fruits and funk with some piney, floral hops and perfumey spices.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with a little funky fruit and some spices (corriander, pepper) and a good sized piney floral bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, I'm not sure I'd call it a saison. But I like it as a session beer with good bitterness and some funk.

12 ounce bottle w/freshness/bottling date info

Pours hazed medium tangerine, with looser off white froth, staying at about the 1/8 of an inch level. Leaves some low sheeting, and typical strands of lace.

Effervescent and lemon infused nose.

Pepper, oranges and bright lemon on the palate. Ginger and lime in the finish. This is a fresh tasting and spiced up saison. Nice summer sessioner, probably a real nice fit with some tangy cheese, raw shell fish, salads. You get the picture

Serving glass: Pour from bottle into Tulip.

Appearance: Pale, cloudy straw color with stark white cap, and slight lacing.

Smell: Grainy, peppery and citrusy (lemon, orange), with some light banana.

Taste: The citrus and lemon hops/spices are quite strong, with some light toasted malts. Quite spicy as well, especially on the finish, with an emphasis on pepper. The Belgian yeast (banana, cloves) is present but secondary. Surprisingly bitter.

Feel: Light body with relatively high carbonation. Very crisp with a bone dry finish.

Overall: Nice to see a new "Session" beer that isn't an IPA, although it is bitter enough. This is a very nice, crisply refreshing Spring seasonal. However, I still prefer Victory's Helios.

12 oz bottle a little above fridge temp poured into a snifter. No freshness info.

Pours a light golden color with a slit haze. Big frothy 2 fingers of white head. Good head retention and good lacing.

Peppery spice, clove, lemon peel, spicey Belgian yeast, a very aromatic beer.

A big peppercorn flavor, big clove flavor, which I really enjoy, combines with the spicey phenols from the Belgian yeast, some lemon citrus peel a slight hint of hops and cereal grain towards the back.

Light and refreshingly crisp carbonation. Some hop bitterness does linger in the finish. Drinkable, but the big spice flavors might get a little old after a while.

A really good beer, I like a big spice profile from time to time and this fit the bill, but at the same time it is really there and i can see why many dont like this. A nice summer beer that many types of people can enjoy. Although, stylistically, more of a Belgian pale than a Saison, but whateves.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams "Perfect Pint" glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy yellowish golden orange with a lot of fast rising bubbles. Huge five finger white head with good retention. Leaves a lot of lacing around the glass.

Smell: A crisp and citrus forward aroma with lots of wheat and some funky yeast. Belgian yeast with hints of barnyard funk, coriander, clove, and white pepper. Bright hints of citrus orange and lemon zest as well as some banana. Wheat grains and pale malts with hints of hay, cracker, and biscuit. Also some grassy hints of hops.A solid Belgian style light wheat aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a funky citrus taste of wheat and Belgian spice. Belgian yeast and barnyard funk with notes of clove, coriander, and white pepper. Banana fruit taste as well as some juicy citrus orange and lemon zest. Slightly tart tasting. Wheat grains and malts with notes of hay, biscuit, and crackers. Earthy and herbal grassy hop notes. A solid taste that is somewhat tart and very zesty.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very crisp. Nicely juicy and smooth.

Overall: A solid light session version of a Saison. Nice mix of funk and citrus.

Served up at Mad Mex pours with a gracious white capped head, eggshell white lovely and textured with effervescent carbonation the body is golden slightly hazed nice looking beer served into their house pint glasses. Aroma has citrus, floral and earthy spice, peppery with a yeast presence driven in this fine tasting session ale from Victory. Flavors were light palatable and complex. I got a lot of citrus fruit, spicy pepper, mango, guava tropical notes with a bready yeast appreciation that kept the beer flowing on the palate. Light herbal grassiness is I'm guessing the hop presence in this beer known as Swing Session Saison. I wish more beers out there had this much complexity in an under 5% alcohol by volume. Medium to light bodied carried by lively carbonation spices tend to sit on the palate between sips, but this was pure session ale. I doubt you will be able to have just one go forth and enjoy this type of beer with friends, I know I did.

Undated 12 oz bottle into a Piraat tulip glass.

A: Pours a slightly hazed golden color. The white head has moderate size and duration but leaves ample lacing on the glass. High carbonation by appearances (and feel).

S: Plenty of lemon and other citrus with coriander and a background of grass, hops and wheat. Nice complexity for a 4.5% saison, albeit not very appealing.

T- Notably tart and fruity with some lemon zest, coriander, hay, banana, and vague spices. Rather sour and bitter aftertaste.

M- light bodied with crisp, high carbonation; dry finish.

O- a flavorful Saison that is too spiced to serve as a session beer for some. Nice and reffreshig, nonetheless, on a hot summer day.
