Undated 12 oz. bottle poured into Duvel tulip. Hazy straw body with a solid finger of creamy white head. Good retention and thin rings of lacing.
Yeast-forward aroma with a healthy dose of hops as well. Spicy phenols combine with citrusy and grassy hops, an interesting combination of Noble and lemon zesty (Sorachi?) varietals. Aside from the yeast, the grassiness and malts are almost reminiscent of a German pilsner.
There are a lot of flavors going on for such a tame beer. Mildly funky and doughy yeast, soft bready and slightly wheaty pale malts, and a tart lemon zest and peppery finish. There's an earthy grassiness as well. The finish is a combination of tart and spicy.
Light-medium body with a crisp and fairly highly carbonated mouthfeel.
Overall this is a very refreshing, fairly complex, and extremely drinkable low ABV brew with just enough twists to make it stand out.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.
Nice lemon bodied yellow to darker brown colored body. Slightly cloudy with a nice rising column of carbonation. Head is fluffy and bone white, with an easy three fingers on the pour. Good creamy retention while waiting.
Notes of soft yeast, and peanut butter quality. Smells quite a bit nutty. Moderate to mild indistinguishable citrus notes. Not bad, a hint of saision like pepper quality rounds out most of the aromas.
Palate seems to match light bodied and sessionable quality. Slightly watery with not much malt depth, and mild crisp saison like dry heat. Slight pepper but also fleeting. REally not much fruit character to this at all, but the spice angle sticks around.
Overall it is as advertised, but it's also a little bit weak and boring.
