11oz pour at the Pour House in Exton, PA. Reviewed from notes.

A - golden straw color, great clarity, an initial 2 finger bright white head that slowly fades and leaves nice patches of lace.

S - wow... They must have dry-hopped the hell out of this thing because it smells amazing. Lots of peach, mango, and grapefruit with a subtle, sweet malt presence. A bit of pine.

T - big punch of citrus and tropical fruit that carries all the way into the finish. Lots of bittersweet grapefruit, some peach, mango, pineapple, and in the middle of the mouth a touch of sweet, bready malts. Some dank pine notes come in towards the end. Tastes super fresh and delicious. I have to say, I wasn't expecting this to be this good.

M - creamy, medium body, slightly prickly carbonation. The alcohol is very well hidden. Easy drinking. Mildly bitter and dry finish.

O - Victory killed it with this one. An outstanding DIPA. Bright, clean hops from start to finish. Hopefully the Pour House doesn't kick that keg before I can make it back there! Victory would be wise to bottle this. Hop Devil and Wallop are good beers, but this is a great beer.

A - Pours a bright medium gold color with a one fingered creamy rich white head. Slight carbonation.

S - Dank citrus, mango, apricot, some pineapple, and exhibits some of those qualities of citra hops we've all grown to love or hate...cat pee. (Even though there's no citra in this beer.)

T - Follows the nose and is hop forward all the way through - apricot, mango, a little bit of tropical fruit, and a piney bitter ending.

M - Flat, medium body. I can only blame it on the growler was taken from the bottom of the keg so there wasn't much life left in it.

O - Meh, not as good as Dirt Wolf.

Liberty Bell Ringer by Victory Brewing is perhaps the finest IPA I have ever tasted. Was at Prime 16 in Orange CT and ordered a number of beers on tap during the evening. The last beer I ordered was the Liberty Bell Ringer IPA. Poured a beautiful orange, yellow, gold with about 2 cm of creamy head. Smell of roasted hops, and a touch of citrus. First sip had notes of smooth grapefruit and citrus. I barely noticed the high alcohol content which was surprising. Mouthfeel was hoppy, and smooth throughout. Overall this IPA truly surprised me. Looking forward to taking a road trip to Victory Brewery to try their other offerings.

Pours a yellow gold with a decent initial head that quickly fades to nice lacing. Smells like a typical IPA with pine and hop notes. Nothing remarkable. What really blows me away is the flavor balance on this. You instantly taste a great mix of grapefruit or some kind of citrus with a hop profile. Goes down incredibly well for close to 9% ABV. Sad to see this was a one and done for Philly beer week.

Paler look for a DIPA. Yellow-orange with lots of haze and a crisp slice of white foam.

Lemony citrus hops with floral aromas in the happening. Light tangerine makes for quite the unique hoppiness. Almost a German-like element to the malts, which are summery pale and not without slight hints of white breadiness.

Bready and with a haughty yeast profile. Hard to completely share a moment with the loud voice of alcohol speaking for itself. Lemony, bready; and with notes of tangerine, citrus pith, flowery hops, and a very mellow banana. White bread all the way, speaking to the malts here. Has rather mild bitterness for the style. Really intriguing, in a good way.

Feels smooth and nearly milky. Rises above my expectations. Carb has perk, but doesn't mess with the plus body.

Great beer. Maybe dissension in the ranks, but its okay if a beer like this has this kind of temperament.

Appearance is a golden straw color with a thin layer of head. Grapefruit and hop notes are definitely present in the nose. The most noticeable thing about the flavor profile is that there is some nice maltiness here. The grapefruit and hops make a comeback on the finish, but the hop profile is not as strong as one would expect from a top flight DIPA.
