On tap at the Old Toad, in Rochester, NY.
Pours a clear golden-yellow, slightly hazy. 1 inch head, good lacing.
Bready, toasty, and grainy aroma, with some mild grassiness.
The taste is very similar, with stronger grassy flavors, and warm bready malts. Definitely mild flavors, as per the style, but well done.
Crisp mouthfeel, well carbonated. Slightly creamy mouthfeel, but mostly just crisp.
A good little beer from Victory, glad I got to try it.

On-tap at Victory Brewing. The Brewery indicated that it was an English-style Pub Ale. I got mine to go in a growler.
The beer appeared a very nice clear, golden color with some noticeable carbonation slowing rising to the top of the glass. The beer produced a nice, dense, thick white head that was retained very nicely and faded into a half of a finger cap. It also produced some very nice lacing. Not really sure how the beer could have looked better.
The beer put off a nice, perhaps lighter aroma than expect, that was grainy and bready, and with perhaps a light hint hops, maybe grassy and a little citrus.
The beer had a really good, very balanced taste, which was very smooth, light in the mouth, but had a creamy quality to it as well. It also left a nice dry aftertaste. Honestly, I think that this could rival any English pale ale that I have ever had and I could seriously sit and drink this all day, as it is very refreshing. Overall, an outstanding beer and one that I suggest any BA get out to the brewery to try.

On cask @ the brewery. Clear gold with a thick yet smooth bright-white head. Huge swathes of sudsy lacing down the sides. Smells fresh and citric with a bit of soft bready grains mixed in. This has a fresh flavorful presence to it in the nose but overall could probably be a bit stronger. The taste has a light grassy bitterness with some gentle earthy and citric undertones to it. A bit of light herbal and tropical character even manages to show itself. Soft grains work well overall with the hops here. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied with an easy creaminess to it from the cask conditioning. Very smooth. This was decent. A Pale Ale with English hops, German malts and an overall American sensibility about it. It at least went down very easy here on cask.
