A: Pours a rather hazy orange. The off-white head is initially fairly tall, with a soapy, frothy texture. Head retention and lacing are both excellent.
S: Wow. Very vibrant citrus, tropical, and resiny hop aromas are front and center here. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, and perfumey resins. There are some dank, secondarily grassy notes lurking behind the prominent citrus and tropical notes. A bit of lightly drizzled brown sugar and cookie-like malt sweetness is also present.
T: Mild malt sweetness up front, with light caramel flavor. Hop bitterness is fairly strong, but not overwhelming, which allows the blast of hop flavors to shine. Whatever hops they used complement one another very well. Juicy citrus, peach, tropical (pineapple and mango), and candied flavors. Some grassy and herbal flavor lingers into the finish.
M: Medium body, with supple carbonation. Rather creamy up front before the hops take over and lead to a gradually building dryness. Alcohol is just slightly noticeable, but with no detrimental effects.
O: This is an outstanding, memorable DIPA from Victory. Very inviting and drinkable for being such a big, vibrantly hopped beer.

Had a growler filled at Premier Gourmet this weekend....I love that place.Poured into an impy nonic a clear light to medium golden with a great looking blooming white head that left two multiple rings of lace as it settled into a frothy mass.Pine and grapefruit along with sugary sweetness in the nose, there is drunken fruit element to it.Fresh citric hops greet the taste buds that melds into a grassiness and then into a sweet dough caramel base,a sugary alcohol element is there but doesn't overpower the hops.I like it,top 5....not sure, but it kicks ass.

12oz bottle poured into Mr. Pint.
Appearance: A hazy, mostly translucent yellow with brisk bubbling action and a white head that leaves a little bit of lacing on the side of the glass as it slowly dies down.
Smell: Holy complex nose, Batman! Citrus, hops, pine, grass, grapefruit all just take their turn in blasting out for my enjoyment.
Taste: Very much reflects the nose. Nice, complex - and distinct - flavors centered around citrus, pine, grass, and hops hit pretty good.
Mouthfeel: Pretty crisp. A little bit of the pine lingers as an aftertaste.
Overall: Well, then. $9.45 for a 4 pack well spent!

A: A light colored DIPA that is a deep golden beer with good clarity. The white head is quick to fade into a thin cap of soapy bubbles.
S: A strong citrus hops aroma that mostly has notes of grapefruit, pine, some pineapple and a fair amount of an herbal character. There is a light malt a sweetness and a low alcohol sweetness.
T: An aggressive hops bitterness and a very strong citrus hop flavors. The hop flavors are a lemon/lime, pine, some mango and little citrus zest. There is just enough malt for support and nothing more making for a very bitter balance. The finish is off-dry with a lingering, citrus hops flavor and bitterness. There is some herbal qualities to the hop flavor that is more apparent towards the finish.
M: A medium bodied beer with a light creaminess and a strong level of carbonation.
O: A very well crafted Double IPA that brings a ton of American citrus hops to the party. The entire focus and balance of the beer is out towards showcasing the hops.
