A: Poured from the bottle into a Duvel tulip. Body is slightly hazy but bright orange with a one-finger white head. Settles slowly to leave a bit of lace on the glass.
S: Very nice nose for a DIPA - citrus is there in abundance: grapefruit, lemon, clementine orange and even lime. Touch of apricot as well. Sweet malt is there too - honey comes to mind.
T: Like the nose, there's lots of vibrant citrus. Grapefruit, tangerine and lemon or lemongrass. There's a good dose of apricot too. Malt foundation is bread doughy, but it takes a back seat to the hops, which are bitter but also fruity and thus not of the palate-shredding variety. Heat from the alcohol is noted at the back end and as a warming feeling in the belly.
M: Medium in heft, but it drinks lighter. Carbonation is modest and fine-bubbled, keeping this one from becoming too slick in feel.
O: This is an excellent DIPA that drinks on the lighter side of the DIPA spectrum. Here's hoping they add this to their rotation full-time.

12oz bottle poured into a standard pint glass.
Pours a nice hazy golden color with a small but fairly thick head. Very good lacing.
Smells like citrus. Lots of grapefruit on the nose. Subdued malt smells as well, very faint.
Taste is nice and hoppy. Good citrus flavor from the hops. Not overpoweringly hoppy, but still very hoppy. The hops are somewhat made milder by a slight maltiness. Maybe even some less acidic fruit taste as well.
As far as mouthfeel goes, this beer was much creamier than I was expecting. With as much grapefruit as it had in the nose I expected a very crisp IPA. Not gonna lie, I'm a big fan of malty beers, so I loved the mouthfeel.
Very good beer.
