Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Surly Darkness chalice.
Appearance: Pours a crisp looking golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid two finger white head that slowly fades into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: A ripe and juicy hop forward aroma with big hints of citrus fruit, pine, and some background malt. Upfront citrus hops with hints of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, tangerine, apricot, lemon, melon, peach, and passion fruit. Earthy and floral hops with hints of grass and dank pine resin. Slight hints of honey. Bready backing of pale malt with hints of grains, cracker, caramel, biscuit, and yeast. Pretty big with the hops. A very good aroma.
Taste: As good as it smells, a ripe juicy hop forward aroma with a big taste of citrus fruits, earthy pine, and backing malt. Nicely sharp and bitter upfront with a big citrus hop presence. Taste of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, pineapple, tangerine, lemon, apricot, peach, melon, and passion fruit. Earthy, floral, and herbal hop notes with some grass and notes of pine resin. Background taste of malt with notes of grains, caramel, cracker, yeast, and biscuit. Very big with the citrus hop flavors. A little note of honey. Pretty good West Coast IPA taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy and fairly oily with a nice dry bitterness. Alcohol heat is masked well.
Overall: A very good West Coast style IPA. Very good juicy taste of citrus fruits with some good earthy notes.

Pours a goldish-orange with a big white foam head that dissipates quickly. A small amount of lacing around the edges.
Lots of citrus hops in the aroma. Bursting with grapefruit, lemon, and orange. A little bit of sweetness going along with the cirrus. Nose finishes up with a burst of pine that is very strong.
The taste follows the nose. Lots of hops right up front, followed by the same bursting grapefruit and a hint of the lemon, with a touch of mango and possibly peach. A little bit of bitterness in the finish. Piney resin comes with the aftertaste. For such a hoppy beer, this is shockingly easy to drink.
Medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. The pine causes a bit of a resinous quality, making it a bit sticky going down.
Overall, this is a fantastic DIPA, once of my favorites so far. Despite the hoppiness, it is incredibly easy to drink, which could make it dangerous.
