This is easily the best IPA/DIPA I have ever had.

Shocking to think this is 8.7 as it certainly doesn't taste that strong but is incredibly smooth for a double IPA.

This brew pours beautiful honey amber with a 1/2 finger slightly off white head. Looks insanely good. I'm jones for a whiff! First smell is of unripped mango and pineapples. Second go round smells just as brilliant. Dank lemon zest and very resinous. Time for a taste. First hits of red papaya and various stone fruits. Mango and pineapples with a leafy hop resin. Nice sweet bread malts backing the hop assault. Very strong clean resinous hop finish. Leafy hops in the aftertaste. The feel s medium-light bodied with active carbonation.

Overall: If this is Hop Wallop’s replacement.. Count me excited. Mosaic & Citra make weird love in this beer. I can’t describe it. The flavors seem to have a bound with each other. I love Victory on how they can blend hop flavors evenly. If this is a DIPA, then it is one of the most drinkable DIPAs I have ever had. This can get you into trouble. The 8.7 ABV is not detectable. This is balanced, bitter, and enjoyable. This brew is Recommended.

Definitely one of the better DIPAs I have had. It has a lot going on with its flavor including grapefruit, mango and peach all tied together with a fresh and earthy hop flavor. With bright and juicy flavors up front and finishing with a slight minerality, this beer is balanced wonderfully and feels wild and untamed. I love it!

Big malts ate up the bitterness and hop aroma and presence but overall a really nice example of the style. Appearance was great and head and carbonation in the bottle were good as well. Would like to try a draft since bottles are my least favorite delivery. Had a punch for a 8.7 ale.

Full of citrus with a faint earthy characteristic.
Amazing hop flavor and bitterness right up front combined in perfect harmony.
Flavor is predominately citrus.
The mouth feel is very crisp, with a dry finish.
One of the best DIPA I've tried so far.
If you like Double Simcoe IPA - Weyerbacher Brewing Co. you gotta try this one.
