Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a footed tulip.

A: Deep golden hue. Pours a slight, bubbly, white head. Dissipates quickly, but not completely leaving a smattering of bubbles on the surface. Sporadic yet persistent lacing.

S: White bread, a little yeast, pine cones, and pine resin. A bit of a soapy character, too.

T: Bitter pine hop. Sourdough bread. And just a hint of resiny sweetness.

M: Light bodied and crisp body. A bit of syrupy character through the experience. Biting, mouth puckering, dry finish; which continues to tingle the palate throughout.

D: Character will dictate a sipping experience.

Atmosphere is pretty solid. Rich golden hue, only a slight head, and very light persistent lacing. Nose is bready with piny and lightly sweet components. Bitter and crisp, a bit of yeast, and some resiny sweetness for balance. Overall, this is a good quaff.

DirtWolf pours a golden color with a large frothy head. There is a floral and hoppy but sweet aroma. The taste is the same, bold floral and hoppy taste, but finishes sweet. Good and bold flavors, nice strong body. Overall its a very good beer, but a bit overrated.

Enjoy by date April 19, 2014. Not sure what time span is used for this beer. Today is Dec. 30, 2013 though.
Pours clear gold with a fat one finger of white head. Head lasts awhile ad leaves an average amount of fine lacing.
Smell is pungent hops with a touch of tropical fruit.
Taste is popping bitter hop hit with a surprisingly sweet tropical fruit backing and a touch of pine resin.
Mouthfeel is medium smooth with a dry bitter finish.
Overall a unique beer. Enjoyed it very much. I will revisit this review tomorrow when I have another. Never tasted the alcohol but I could smell it on my breath as I exhaled. Watch out this beer drinks easy!

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.

A: One finger head that sticks in loose splotches. Slight carbonation floating from the bottom. Trace amounts of settlement at the bottom of the glass.

S: Strong floral, honeysuckle, and caramel aromas. A very fresh smelling beer that is reminiscent of spring time.

T: Mix of pine and citrus hops off the first sip, malt sweetness interluding, and finishes with a dank, earthy bitterness and hints of pepper. An interesting interplay between sweet and sour flavors.

M: Medium bodied, a bit creamy, and finishes with slightly bitter and dry. Pretty easy drinking for a style that is typically heavy and over drying, especially given the ABV.

O: A lighter take on the double IPA, but still retains the complexity typical of the style. An above average beer that really with its unique aromas and mouthfeel. There was something missing in the taste department that would have set this beer apart.
