This pours a golden orange color with a pillowy white head that is 2 inches thick. Nice lacing as it goes down.

Nose is unlike any beer I've had to the best of my knowledge. This is more like opening a sack of….well maybe you get where I am going with this. Wow! Needless to say there is a pleasant aroma of pine, tangerine and resin.

Smooth. Medium body. Not too carbonated or bitter at first. Beautiful hop bouquet. Complex and just hits so many places. Citrus, pine and something I cannot quite pick up. This maybe a newer hop than I am not equipped to decipher yet. It is wonderful though. Some grassy characters from the malts but these play well with the hop presence. Earthy tones and a blending that is again wonderful. The 8.7% is hidden well and doesn't overpower the sense.

Ok, here comes more of the bitterness as this goes down. Pine and hop oils left to coat the tongue. Still a delicious beer. A quick glance at the hops in this and I'm guessing the Mosiac is what I'm getting that I cannot judge. Could this be the blueberry I've heard about? It is fantastic!

I've heard this replaces Hop Wallop. I'll be sad to see it go but this is a worthy replacement for sure.

A - Bright orange with a moderate amount of suspended sediment. Fine white head with moderate retention and lace.

S - Bright resiny wood, cilantro, and boozy orange extract.

T - Sharp woody hops, waxy resin, honey, grass, and a touch of prickly booze.

M - Almost perfect for the style. Medium-full, smooth body.

O - Nice, big, fresh DIPA on the greener and woodier side of the style.

12oz : tulip

Pours a lightly hazy, bright golden with a thick, foamy, thick white head.

Delicious, inviting blend of big fruity, citrusy, resiny hop notes.

The taste follows the nose, with lots of citrus and fruit mixed with resiny pine notes.

Medium+ mild foamy carbonation.

A very tasty, well done DIPA that I'm glad I was able to try.

Slightly hazy, medium amber color. Head subsides quickly but leaves decent lacing.

The nose is not as hoppy as the style would demand and shows some alcoholic/phenolic notes.

It is very full and pleasing in the mouth, with some weighty maltiness at the beginning and a strongly bitter and alcoholic finish.

A very satisfying drink - built for sipping, not for quaffing.

Enjoy by 3/27/14. Golden pour with a strong head that laces well. Nose is of hops, mostly earthy (dank) and citrus, but there is pine in the background. Light medium body with typical carbonation resulting in a smooth, but not slick, mouthfeel. The taste is a mixture of hops against a slight sweetness. Dank and citrus flavors are the most forward, with pine in the background. The bitterness component has grapefruit characteristics. Smooth finish with a lingering grapefruit tartness and bitterness over a nice dankcentric aftertaste. Well balanced overall.

Dank and piney hop assault...

Oily and loaded with palate busting bitterness...

Quite drinkable considering the ABV...

Enjoyed while watching A Christmas Story and was my first beer away from the Bourbon County Coffee I had been enjoying...

I liked this beer.... quite tasty and the bitterness wasn't overpowering although the hop flavor was...
